I didnt read the rest of the topic, I think that they are good, but your memories are in a way, what makes you. If you have crappy hateful memories then you're more likely to end up like that. If most of your memories consist of sunshine and happy days, you're more likely to be a happy person. Course you'll always have some bad memories. S'life.

And it wont always end up like that.... Some people are greedy. Some people are selfish. Doesn't mean they're bad, or evil. Just greedy or selfish.. xD

i think most people are good. some are crazy in a mean way, but most are good. even if they're not good to YOU, they're likely good to someone, they just dont' have any good will left for YOU, or any interest in developing any. that's just a compartmentalization, really, necessary for some people in order for them to make it through their own lives with a certain level of peace, security and energy.

And if they are, I don't think that's where everything comes from.

Poor communicators ,and indifferent- neither deliberately evil , nor really very good.
Thinking "someone else" will sort a problem out.
Happy to look after an inner circle if it isnt a problem for them , but outside of that , couldnt really give a fxxx.
Society's focus brainwashed is somewhere between poor and nonexistent.
There's always exceptions but thats a *general * assessment.

PS pure evil *does* exist.

I used to think all people were basiclly good until I spent some time in 3rd world countries.

Spend a few weeks in Mexico city and then try to feel like people are basically good. lol

 

As a species we're morally and mentally quite weak.
Evil can be "guided along" in certain circumstances.
Whats considered "evil" is dictated by "fashions"
- rather than people bothering to sit down and think or do something good.

Sometimes I cant believe how much shallow shite we do as a species , when we could be doing more worthwhile things..

 

Evil and self-centeredness are very important-

There is good evil and good self-centeredness.

Of course society exists. Not in every person on their own, but all together. Yeah it does.

 

Hmm it *should* exist.
And we'd all do a lot better if it did.
But too many people seem to be bothered about what road their new house is in.And things that really incense me , like what private school their silly kids are going to.
Solving poverty, curing disease , finding the next Einstein / da VInci?
They couldnt give a fuck - thats "for someone else".
So , with too many people like that , it aint a society- I think.

 

If people are bad, then it'll be a bad society. It won't cease to exist because people suck.

And for the record, you cant expect every parent or even person to be rushing around trying to find a cure for whatever disease. For all you know, their "silly" kid is the next Einstein or Da Vinci... You can't expect the bus drivers to start curing AIDS..
