Period Underwear

My fiancee's seen all of my gross undies and has seen the worst of me-sick, covered in a rash and hives and struggeling with emotional crap. He's the most perfect person I have ever been with, but I don't feel like I have to be perfect around him. I can exhale and be myself and he seems to love me even more when I do.

...but yeah I still don't want him to see my bloody undies!

 

LOL count me in as an owner of period undies. I even have a drawer just for my period undies, which also is the home for my cloth pads, diva cups and sea pearls. Everything I need in one drawer! I've been with my man for over 10 years now and I still hide my bloodies from him =oP

Could someone enlighten me as to what exactly a "pecker track" is? I had no clue peckers left anything at all! LOL

Bella - that is an extremely accurate and hilarious descripiton. Even though I only have about 2 periods a year anymore, I can relate from years of having the damn thing. I sill hold on to a few pairs of period underwear, "just in case". Best laugh all week, so far!

 

Aren't underwear from the 17th century also period underwear?

arghhhhhhhh I'm soooooooooo late and I'm not pregnant either. I'm bummed though because I wanna start using the rythm method and that's impossible when I got months between periods.

 

Fertility awareness is not impossible regardless of how long you have between periods. The rhythm method is soooo unreliable, it's unfortunate people still use it because people confuse it with FAM, giving FAM a bad name.

Bella, check out Taking Charge Of Your Fertility. It's a book by Toni Weschler. You will learn to chart your temperatures and cervical fluid and position to prevent or acheive pregnancy. It's as effect as hormonal birth control.

It makes me sad when people think they can't do it based on the length of time between periods If anything, I'd recommend it to them more, so they have a better understanding of what their body is doing, how long their luteal phases are and when they're ovulating.

 

I will have to get that book. Thank you for the suggestion. I just don't do well on birth control, but I am not ready to be pregnant yet either. Not that it would be a bad thing or anything, just not yet.

I love underwear, panties whatever you people call them. I buy new ones every other month. But I don't have special ones that I wear while on my period. I just wear what the hell is clean. It doesn't really matter in my situation I guess. I have a fairly light flow, I always know when it is coming (to the hour) and it only lasts 3 days max. Yay me.

I can't wear a lot of types of undies though I can only wear either cotton thongs with any pants or shorts or satain high cut briefs (and I only wear those with skirts/dresses). And I can only buy mine at VS. I haven't found any others that fit me, and believe me for the main reason of saving money I have tried everywhere.
