Did the nasty boyz from the council estate give you a good fucking kicking and nick your action man then?

 

I've never lived on a council estate... my mum did though with her mum and dad.

My grandparents came to England from Ireland and struggled to make a living here... my grandad got paid very little and after years of living in one room (with two kids) they moved up to renting a council home.

That's one persons story for you..

 

I did not mention any paricular colour/creed/ or religeon ... whoever is bludgering of the system..because they have this activity engrained in them ... i can pick on any person oe werever they may live that is scrounging ...but like teenage pregnancy it is mostly in council estates.

No not at all..i used to live on a council estate , mine was mostly populated by un educated bufoons .

Comments like that make me wonder if you've ever even seen a council estate, let alone been on one. Is that your serious impression of people on council estates in this country?

 

There are some good and bad estates ... mostly bad .

I am not saying council estates/homes are a bad idea , but they are abused .

Abused? What the fuck are you going on about? the only abuse here was the abuse of human beings by putting them onto estates in the first place.

Council estates as we know them today are a fucking bad idea. They were originally built to get rid of the slums from Victorian squalor that grew up from our industrial revolution ... the single biggest cause for the abuse of workers rights in this country ever.

They moved the working class and poor from one type of cesspit and put them straight into another. What's left of those old slums are now fetching millions for the yuppie housing market.

Well, no i was not being rascist in anyway, or anything you were implying.

I was not having a swipe at all people who live in coucil estates .. just the people that live in coucil estates and abuse the system.. i know lots of people that do and its is an ingrained way of behaving for some..This is what 'the lazy bastards that live on council estates' meant .. i apologise if it seemed like i was talking about eveyone (although i admit it could have been taken that way)..

I left the council estate (i was born into).. and moved (well was forced) to live in a childrens home (it was a lovely place though) at the age of 3 , my brother was 7 and (my other brother/sister being older stayed)...it is a long story, anyway ..... My brother always has 'full and frank' discusions with me ... even thou he lived on a estate for only a few more years than me , i would think you could call me slightly snobby (well as snobby as living in melton mowbray can get you)... He always says he was brought up and bred in a council estate (wich is true i guess) .. He is so criminal it is shocking (ducking and diving, rather than hitting and stabbing) wich i am sorry, has given me a overall view of council estates and the people that live there ... I am not like him at all and realise 90% of people that live on estates are decent people . Its the bad apples that i am talking about..if he had continued to live in the estate he would have been inprisoned many times (just like my older brother) . Their was a family like mine on every street , probably one of a few..

I still hold that, having a shake up of the lazy bastards that live in council estates .. would be good. It would get rid of bad elements within them and the countless empty (due to people not wishing to live in them through fear or them not being financialy worth it) houses that frequent them, could be used for families and well any person that works within the law ... What is wrong with that rationale ?.

Look at what you said, but intstead of 'people on council estates', let's substitute 'black people'. Perhaps then you'll understand what a sweeping and insulting comment it was:

What about the people who live in private homes who abuse the system? What about the lords and ladies, noblemen, knights and gentry who abuse the system? Anyway fuck the system. It's the system that spawns inequality, filth and poverty and the sooner it goes the better.

You are not being racist, but racial prejudice is so tied in with class prejudice ~ just read the history books.

I remember going for a job once and being told that I sounded 'too cockney' for the affluent area that I would be working ... go figure that one out.

Are you totally fucking retarded? You made a sweeping generalisation about people based simply on where they live. That's a prejudice. I drew a comparison between that and racism to show how unacceptable it would be if you held similar prejudices about people from ethnic minorities. The point of which is to illustrate that your generalisations about people based on the fact that they live in council estates is just as tasteless as making generalisations about people based on the colour of their skin. Nobody's accusing you of being racist. It's a simple comparison used to illustrate a point. It's not fucking rocket science.
