yes I have heard the Utica rumors, watch the websites, see what happens...they're probably just toying with us, ya think? we'll see. now going to check again....

it will only be a matter of time before we see those brilliant men back onstage, uniteded as this undefinable hydra....they are the best.....the energy produced by them is unparalleled....i'm listening to the "fee>taste" from 2.14.03, and it is brilliant. each one knows exactly where to be.....its so perfect....it doesn't get any better than MIKE, PAGE, FISHMAN, AND TREY!!!

Trey, Mike and Fishman, all together playing DIVIDED SKY!!!! holy shit! then an electric Boogie On with them and 70volt?!?!?! oh shit!

 

On 12/31/01 Vida Blue was playing a wonderful NEW YEARS extravaganza....and during the encore, two very speacial guests appeared....mike gordon and trey anastasio....both on guitar....they proceeded to jam out a narly 15 minute, non stop high energy jamming! it is one of the best jams ever and its only 3/4 PHISH. One year later, PHISH was playing Madison Square Garden back one the road. Maybe one year later from 11/11/05, we'll see phish? or maybe just a little over a year a New Years Bash 06->07??? i think so....

They'll probably get together for one last (HUGE) tour, just to say a proper goodbye. But I doubt they'll make any more cds. Undermind sorta had an ending feel to it.

11/4/05 - Trey rejects certainty about breakup's permanency
In a 10/31 story in the Illinois Entertainer, when asked"So keep all Phish questions at bay, because they're not getting back together anytime soon . . . right?". Trey is quoted as answering, "It's so funny that nobodys asked me that! We're definitely not now, and I would never do that because it was all the rage. All I'll say to that is I've said so many stupid things in the past, that have come out of my mouth, if theres one thing I'm finally starting to learn is I don't know whats going to happen. But I'd like to play music for a long time and I love those guys. Who knows?"
