Mason jar?

 

I'll take it! Mason is actually a brand name and this is a Wheaton jar but they both produced wire bail, canning jars like this.

 

I'm doing a dance right now. Lol.
I've never hear of it being called a Wheaton jar before. Brilliant yet again.

 

Wheaton is just a different brand that happens to make them, I never hear anyone calling them that either. Kind of like calling tissues Kleenex, even though not all tissues are made by Kleenex, not all canning jars are made by Mason.

 

That's true, I just call it a glass jar or cereal jar.

 

Like hoover is a make of vacuum cleaner. But people here just say hoover.
