the 'vets were pretty, but with about the same milage as an old schoolbus, not nearly as useful as one. yup, those were my early teens when the second one was new.
tis true i'm not big on internal combustion mechanics. i just know those hot cams always sound to my ears like they're getting ready to stall out.
only block i ever got to really know and love was the ohc 235 "big" six in chevy/gmc light trucks. easy and reliable to keep running.
just a matter of remembering what is now history before it was. no medals for milage, but better then those useless for anything other then a speeding ticket "muscle" bs things.
