Unfortunately those things look like death machines as you need at least 4" of ground clearance to be safe on the highway. I know they raise up but it doesn't look like they have 4" of clearance. If they hit an obstacle in the road, an uneven or raised part of the road or leave the road and travel onto the berm the frame may bottom out raising one or both wheels off the ground resulting in loss of control. Cornering is also affected as the amount you can lean the bike is reduced.
It's not designed for transportation or performance riding, it's basically a piece of (sorta) rolling art. Belongs in a craft museum, not on the road.
That was something I did notice, the hatch on the side was obviously painful to work through. But what a BEAUTY!
