As Candy says the statue there is of Billy Fury.
He was a British Singer who had loads of hits in the 60s.
Unfortunately he died young because of heart disease culminating in a heart attack.
That statue was cited down on Liverpool Waterfront to commemorate his untimely death at a young age.

On the lake today was this lovely little spritsail sharpie with a reef in. The winds in the mountains are so flukey that sailboats are a rarity here, but today he had a steady westerly breeze.

Me Wifey and I went to our local Wetherspoons pub for some Booze and a meal last night.
Very nice pub it is too!
