I've tried all hair colors.. from black to blonde to orange-red to tomato-red to green and purple and everything.. but the first time in long time I'm letting my hair be.

I'm not really a redhead but I kinda am.. according to the hairdressers, my hair is very hard to bleach because though it looks mostly dark-brown and has red and blonde highlights, it is technically red pigment. I also have lots of freckles - and I love them, unlike every-single-person I know who has them.. if I could have more I'd be super happy

 

i love freckles. i had auburn hair growing up, but now it's a coffee black and you can only see the red in certain light. not good enough.

 

my little sister grew up with bright orange hair.. people in school called her carot and all sorts of mean things.. now she has auburn hair.. it's sooooooooo gorgeous.. I love dark red hair so much.

I prefer brunettes in general. My boss, is a brunette with deep blue eyes. I love that.

 

what I love is a brunette with light eyes like blue or green or gray even better.. or blondes with dark eyes, almost black.. I think such contrasts are incredible

 

i SHOULD be a natural redhead. i'm just not. so i fixed it.

 

I dont know. My hair is naturally strawberry blonde. Both my grandmothers were redheads, (Irish, Danish), and I have quite a few red headed relatives. NAturally, the red shows up subtly in my blonde. My eyes are blue, but theyre weird because they are DARK lie black sometimes. My sister coloured her hair black and has ice grey eyes. She is more beautiful than I ever could be and it breaks my heart. My brother is blonde with green eyes.

 

nothing wrong with fixing that! my little sister (the other one) had golden blonde hair when she was little and now she's getting dark.. so she's bleaching it lightly so it stays the way it *should* be - and it matches her skintone and all it's not shocking..

 

my immediate family siblings were all bright blondes with blue eyes. my mom's siblings were all black haired with really pale blue eyes. my dad's side of the family were all redheads with deep blue eyes.

now all my blonde siblings have auburn or strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes. i'm the only one who ended up with the black hair, and it's just not right. it's GORGEOUS, no fucking joke. it's so shiney it'll blind you when the light hits it, but it just looks so ugly on me. crying shame.

 

black hair is really hard to pull off. it can make one's face look aggressive.. you gotta have a really beautiful soft face to pull it off right I think. I haven't seen you with black hair ever KC!

 

my face and attitude are too forceful for me to have black hair. it's terrifying. my mother looked glorious and striking, not me. i look belligerant.

yep. with black hair i look very very mean.

and i agree. i'm not much into blondes at all. but cate's a keeper.
