Dark Side of the Moon is definitely not their best album! it just received the most airplay and general recognition.

I agree that Pipers At The Gates Of Dawn is their best album, and so is Saucerful of Secrets. (tie) and Meddle is feckin amazing!!!!! they all were excellent through Wish You Were Here, and then it went downhill a bit. after The Wall they severely dropped, imo.
