yeah... while i would have been more interested to see blue cheer, can't say that excited me much either. and, to orison... jesus could be playing lead for waters and i still wouldn't go out of my way to attend.
I am having second thoughts, even though I have a ticket. seeing roger a few times now and the few wall songs he did regulary on tour. dont think im missing anything.. but DAVID GILMOUR..
I saw a show in seattle during the Delicate Sound of Thunder tour... Who knows, maybe an off night, but his lead playing while not terrible, was pretty lacking IMHO, and I really was a big Gilmore fan...His creative ouput since the Floyd break up is unimpressive to me. His best work was under Waters.
the flaming lips are covering darkside in its entirity on friday night at bonnaroo. unfortunately, i'm gonna miss that one. the problem there, though, is that to go to roo i would have to pay around $280 for a (mostly)shitty corporate lineup... and i don't see much difference between waters's tour and this... don't want to be surrounded by a bunch of trusties trashed on 6 dollar beer and bunk-ass 'drugs'... or people checking their stock portfolio between songs
hehe. if you watch the DVD In the Flesh, take a look at the leads during comfortable numb, it sounds like a studio dub, and you cant see the guitarist fingering frets( i should say you cant see it continuously, .. its actually when Snowy is playing.. Doyle is really good, he's a little flashy and glam but still cool.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=invo5D6SuBQ"]YouTube- Roger Waters - Comfortably Numb LIVE
i think some the best was the newer on and island tour, but playing his leads myself over the years. i have my good days and bad days..
The dublin show isn't 'til May 2011, and tickets are €70!!!! (+booking fee) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30YW3wgRvyI"]YouTube- Senator Clay Davis
OMG HES COMING TO FT LAUDERDALE!!! FUCK YES, this would be the first time ever seeing Pink Floyd in person in concert. I HAVE to go
lol like my friends father said its not really pink floyd just a cashing in while you can technique. Which is the new trend for bands now to play FULL albums in this shitty economy so that people would have more reason to go see them.
I saw. It's ridiculous! I tried to hint to my fiance to buy me a ticket but Walmart does not pay its employees well, sadly. I may have to camp outside the Bank Atlantic Center and see if I can hear anything
I don't even know what that is. lol But I wouldn't drag myself to a concert unless it was Pink Floyd or the Doors, and Jim Morrison is dead. Or maybe a Dave Matthews concert.
