Eat something healthy and take a pregnancy test from the drug store if it is positive eat heatlhy and make plans on seeing a obgyn doctor. Having a child is a wonderful thing they are so cute. You do have to be grown up and serious because they cost money and you need to be prepared and get help from friends and family. Baby showers are nice and eatting healthy smart food is good. Gain your weight and live in the truth. A lot of people take those home pregnancy tests. They just cost about twenty dollars and are pretty accurate get a friend to take the test with you.
Best wishes and be healthy ,

the op asked about a health question in the health forum.

I feel strongly that someone asking a question about health should be able to do so without the thread being hijacked.

if anyone would like to post a thread elsewhere in the forums about the non-health related issues that this thread raises, I have no objection. however, I plan to report any additional off-topic posts that I see on this thread, particularly since the op has made clear that the off-topic posts are unwelcome.

a thread elsewhere about the general topic of pregnancy would be just fine :2thumbsup:

a microwave is just fine. if you have a microwave-safe dish, cutting board, a knife, and maybe a vegetable peeler, you can cook foods just fine

to cook carrots, sweet potatoes, potatoes

the carrots should probably be peeled, but not the potatoes. chop them up with a knife, put them in the microwave-safe dish. cook on high for 5 minutes

    oatmeal

get a container of generic rolled oats. put some in a microwave-safe dish with a little water. cook for 2 minutes

frozen peas and other frozen vegetables

put some in the dish with some water. the rest in the bag that you don't use can be closed and put in a freezer

    cook for 5 minutes

I think in principle you can also cook rice in a microwave, but I think that there is a trick to it

hamburger and chicken can also be cooked in a microwave.

there may be community food pantries in your area that could help

you can have blood deficiency and not have the pale symptoms.

anemia, anxiety and amenorhea are more relevant. I'm not an acupunturist though, and I'm just going by what you've said here

the dietary changes will probably help though

I ate brunch today. I'm taking a test when my boyfriend gets off work. I know how to be responsible for some one else. I may not know everything, but I've had to support more people than I should've at nineteen than I should've, including babies and I don't have any! I will definitely eat healthier as much as I can, especially if I am pregnant. If/when I do have children, I know I'll get tons of stuff at my baby shower. I can get a job and my man owns a business, we'll be good. He has awesome friends and family and so do I. We're getting a test from a dollar store, for literally only a dollar. A test is a test. Thank you very much for the advice and kind words.:)

Thank you very much, e7m8. I found a cookbook that helps you convert regular recipes so they can be cooked safely in the microwave last night, so hopefully that'll help too. The food pantries are hard to get to because I don't have transportation, but I'm gonna see what I can do about that and getting my Link card back on until I find a job. Even if I'm not preggo. And I'm still going to look into those other things.

I have to respectfully disagree. A baby is always a blessing. Everyone I've known in my life that had a child at a young age turned their life around and are doing better than many of their peers who have not had children. I think young parents are usually only bad parents when they start to resent their child for taking their youth away from them and try to reclaim that youth.

Anywho, back on topic. You should really get some prenatal vitamins even if you aren't pregnant. Folic acid is recommended for any woman of child-bearing age and it does sound like you need to supplement vitamins since you aren't getting them in your diet.

Prenatal vitamins also have a good amount of iron in them, which will help your anemia.

Some one suggested that my body may be just screwing with me making me think I'm preggo because I'm late. Is that possible? If that's it, I'm gonna be highly upset because I didn't even know some of this stuff was preggo symptoms and I've been worrying if there's something wrong. Not cool.

My Mother smoked most of her life and I watched her hack a lung up every morning. Then the last ten or so years of her life when she decided to quit she found out that it was to late she had emphasema so then I watch her cart around a oxygen bottle everwhere that she went and she still couldn't ever get enough oxygen. She was always out of breath. The bad part was I had to watch her slowly die each day those last ten years, with the last weeks of her life spent laying in a hospital bed.

Yesterday I found out that a very dear friend of mine has stage 4 lung cancer and 6 months to live if he is lucky. His famous quote was I am going to quit tomorrow. He has a wonderful family and has worked his ass off his whole life hoping to enjoy retirement, now that is all down the tubes. I urge you and everybody else to throw them damn things away and don't be saying I'll quit tomorrow or when the price goes up. The price just might be your life.

Whitterburg I hope you the best, rethink the smoking and stop for sure one way or another.

There is a big difference between saying you are going to do something, and actually doing it.

Well that came off sounding unnecessarily mean.

The funny thing about pregnancy symptoms is that they can also be symptoms of so many other things. I realized this when my husband and I were working hard to conceive our third child after a miscarriage.

Your body can miss a period, and provide other questionable pregnancy symptoms when under stress. Stress can make your period late. It can also give you stomach issues etc....so if you were thinking you could be pg..and stressing about it, it could take longer to get your period if not pg.

I know that, I'm not fucking stupid. Either way, this is not about my smoking habits. I asked another question and would like an answer. If you don't know, that's fine. If you want to discuss my smoking habits, we can do so at another time. Right now I'm a little more worried about whether I'm pregnant or not. My boyfriend doesn't get off work for another four hours, so I can't take a test until then. I'd still like to know anyway though because I find these things interesting. So here it is again:
I didn't even know some of these things were symptoms of pregnancy until people told me they were so is it possible my body is fucking with me? I just find it weird that if that is the case that I have symptoms I didn't know were symptoms. I figured if that were the case, I'd only get the symptoms I knew about. Lol. I also didn't even consider pregnancy as a possibility until everyone I've talked to said "sounds like your knocked up." I haven't been hoping for a baby or really stressing that I might be pregnant. I wasn't even worried until I was a whole week late and even then I thought I might just be sick.

I love your respect for others. Everybody here has tried to offer you some help which you asked for and then you want to jump on some of them for doing so. I think that shows you need to mature a little bit more than you think.

Just take the test and answer your own questions.

Google them and you won't have to hear form any of us.

The only person I've been rude to is the douchebag trying to say I need to abort it or give it away if I'm pregnant because I'll have a shit life. So if you've taken anything else that way, you've taken it wrong. You people are really starting to irritate me now though so if you aren't going to answer my question, please don't even bother posting.

I'm going to take the damn test in a few hours. I said I'd still like to know because now I'm interested. I tried that and didn't get my answer, otherwise I wouldn't be asking ya'll. I'm not fucking stupid, I know damn well how to look up a question. Once again, if you can't answer my question, just please don't even bother posting. You are very irritating.

Then I was obviously not talking about you, jeez. I also responded to you. Fuck this. I'm sick of you guys. Don't even bother posting. I'll figure shit out on my own and I'll find out whether I'm preggo or not in a few hours.
