I'm not worried about YOU having a shit life, even though that will happen too. I'm worried about a kid growing up in that situation, especially with a parent with your temper and emotional outlook on life.

The parents often grow up, and it's great for them. But the issue is how much better it could be for the kid, if they where more than just someone's forced wakeup call.

It makes more sense to harness that SAME self control only without the kid, and straighten one's life, and THEN have a kid in a stable responsible situation.

As it is, it often ends up like it is for OP: a tool to prove that a total disaster of a life is actually stable, and really just fine, and that what is totally out of control is really no big deal and she can handle it any day.

For instance, if one's ready to have a kid, their body isn't full of genotoxic/mutagenic tobacco shit, they've been clean as a whistle for some reasonable time, at least months. They're perfect BMI, already on prenatal vitamins, exercising and in good shape, etc.

 

Don't get me wrong. The last thing I want is kids.

But I do believe this world is fucked up because of kids being raised by shitty parents who dont care for or properly raise their children.

So if you're gonna be a parent whether by choice or not it's your job to love , and raise those kids to be the best that they can possibly be. Anything less and your just contributing to downfall we're seeing in this world generation after generation.

First off, of course I'm going to be moody. In case you didn't read, I did NOT feel well at all. Pretty sure I mentioned being irritated or something similar if I left it out, I'm sorry. There were a few of you just trying to be assholes and you know it. For those of you that were, FUCK YOU!
For those of you that I irritated even if it wasn't on purpose, I apologize. Not feeling well and people being assholes tend to make someone a bit grumpy so I'm sure most of you are nice enough to understand and accept the apology.

Again, ya'll do not know me very well. I haven't been on here long and haven't posted much. Once you get to know me more you'll see I'm not so sucky. Until then, don't judge and make assumptions...that is one of the quickest ways to piss me off, so if you can't refrain from doing so, please just ignore me and my posts. Ask if you must, I'm an open book! If you disagree with something I say, please let me know. But do so in a respectful way. We're not all perfect so I know this won't happen all the time for ya'll or for myself, but society in general needs to work on this among other things so I think we can at least try. Anyways...we took two tests and both were negative. Yay! I mean, it woulda been a yay either way, but you know what I mean. I still haven't got my period yet though and I'm sick with something. My boyfriend fell asleep before I did last night and I was up for like an hour crying because I was in pain and didn't feel well. He woke up and gave me a pain pill, something for my sinuses, vitamin C tablets, and a women's multi-vitamin, a hitter, turned the shower on and let the room get all steamy, he gave me some rice bag thingy he put in the microwave for my cramps, and got me off. Lol. I gotta say, pretty sure this one's a keeper.

I don't know what the deal is, but being sick is probably what threw me off. I wasn't hoping for a baby or hoping that I wasn't pregnant, I didn't really worry until I was a week late. The reason I wasn't concerned is because he had a vasectomy after his second kid with his ex wife. I knew it was rare for the tube they snip to grow back together, which is why I didn't rule it out completely, but wanted to know what else it could be. The way his was done is the way that fails most often, he had complications with it, and apparently having Crohn's disease makes recanalization more likely to happen. He was even the one that said "We need to get you a test now that it's been a whole week because it's still a possibility and with my luck, it would happen before I want it to. You can't be havin' my babies without a ring on your finger. And we ain't doin' that until you go back for your last year of college and celebrate your twenty first birthday."

Oh, and I almost forgot...thank you again for those of you that did help. My boyfriend gave me vitamins and says he's going to make me take them, take me to try and get my Link card turned back on once I'm feeling better, and of course take me to the doctor if I'm not feeling any better in a few days or get worse. We are both glad to not be having a child yet and happy he hasn't grown back. Hopefully I will be better by Monday and not need to go to a doctor.

 

If you had explained the fact that he had a vasectomy earlier on it would have saved a lot of drama. The chances of it "growing back" are very slim...very very very unlikely.

 

I know that, I'm not stupid. I chose not to because I didn't want anyone to completely rule it out just in case since I had no clue and some people don't realize that a vasectomy is not 100%. I just said that I knew it was rare, but still possible. You do not need to restate it as if I didn't know. If that irritated you, sorry, but it's done and over with now so get over it. I assure you I'm not attempting to be snide right now and I apologize for coming across that way, I'm just still grumpy because I feel like shit. Still same symptoms, no period, and less sleep. :/

i still say you should go and get a full medical check up whit.if your lacking in anything like iron an stuff it will show in a blood test.in the meantime try and get a healthy balanced food diet in order.:mickey:

 

Once I get some insurance, I will. I know I'm lacking iron at least. Until then, I'm gonna take vitamins like my boyfriend wants me to and try to get my Link back on when I get to feeling better so I can eat more and healthier. The only thing stopping me is lack of money and that I wasn't sure how I was going to with just a microwave. But I've got that cookbook thingy, the internet, and you guys so I think I'll be able to find recipes I'll like.
