Pressed_Rat's critique of pope Francis is actually spot on. He is creepy, and it is not a case of anyone projecting the actions of pedophile priests onto him or past popes as some of you have uncritically claimed.
I said that Rat was sopt on with his assessment of the pope. You answer by saying: "Even though that is precisely what Rat said?" Please clarify.
I may have confused you're statement with why you think he is creepy and thought you were speaking for Rat. It seemed to me pedophilia was why Rat said what he said.
Yes, the pope deserves the critical comment that Rat made about him. Nothing was projected onto the pope that cannot be justified.
They are creepy, in general. They are also creepy . . . specifically. Anyone who helps hide pedophiles is just as guilty as the pedophiles, if not more so, as they willingly perpetuate the crime. Perhaps this whole scenario serves as an excellent example of the blinding effect that some religions have on their congregations, as people will still decide that, besides being good guys to follow after, popes' opinions on other factions of society should be heeded.
No; this pope is not creepy, or any more creepy than Bill Mahar. I shall continue on another day about the Providence for the World which sounds like: nobody has a worded clue.
Any sources suggesting that he has protected pedophiles? He has already removed Bishops for pedophilia; how is that protecting them?
A “dossier" accusing papal nuncio Archbishop Josef Wesolowski of sex abuse of minors was sent to Pope Francis sometime in July by Santo Domingo Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez. The pope found the information credible enough to dismiss Wesolowski . . . However, neither the civil authorities nor the public knew about Wesolowski until a local TV program did an expose’ on Aug. 31. The result of a year-long investigation, the broadcast contained testimony from residents of the Zona Colonial in Santo Domingo that Wesolowski paid minors for sex. ________________________________________ It would appear that the pope had every intention of protecting Wesolowski from prosecution. ________________________________________ Here is some more information concerning the activities of the former Cardinal Jorge Bergoglio--aka the pope: http://www.globalresearch.ca/washin...io-bergoglio-and-argentinas-dirty-war/5326675
Difficult to forego an approximate 1500--2000 year old perk. Not only boys have been the targets. My ex and her sisters had priestly hands down their pants.
As did my sister-in-law. It was a priest. If anything can be said about the guilty ones, it would be that they have shown themselves to be equal-opportunity sex offenders.
