Positive reactions to your dreads?

everyday i have ppl comeup to me to ask about me dreads or compliment them and old ladys LOVE them its super funny lol and i get hit on alot more with em and and black ppl like to ask me about my nonblack person dreads lol

 

Lol the other day some drunk guy walked past me and said 'Ey nice locks darlin'' xD Was funny, he was black and might have had dreads himself xD Almost made my day that lawl

that's interesting, because you CAN be addicted to all of the above.
not that coffee is a HUGE deal, just that your body does go through withdrawals if you stop drinking it. I'm currently riding them out right now, it's rather annoying. And no, I don't consider myself a coffee/weed addict.
It's not just in your head, your body requires certain chemicals or chemical reactions to function when you're addicted to something. Sex addiction is very real and very tragic. I'm pretty sure when there's a facility for people to go to detox or sweat out an addiction, it's legit.
Just so happens that many drug rehab centers accept people for marijuana addiction. THC is a chemical that makes you high, therefore you can become addicted if your personality is addictive.

My boss told me I had nice hair today. He said it was very "african" (that made me lol). A coworker of mine from Zimbabwe always says she loves them, and I keep trying to convince to either grow her hair out and let me dread it, or to grow a fro. We had a great talk about racial assimilation today, because she's considering taking out her extensions and growing her hair out natural (she's black FYI) but that she wouldn't 'fit in' with all her other friends. So sad.

as far as your counterpoint, yes those substances can be addictive, but i was commenting on the lad who called himself a 'junkie' as if you could actually compare marijuana 'addiction' to JUNK.

You can get addicted to many many substances, just causse its not a class A drug does not mean your not a junkie

 

hmmmm marihuana is not physically addictive, so you cant be a junkie but you can get mentally addicted to mj like you can get mentally addicted to everything,

when people say mj is not addictive they just mean not physical

 

You can't get addicted to marijuana period. It's just an excuse for people to do it. I haven't smoked pot in like a month and before that 3 months. My counciler (however you spell it) always act's like I'm addicted. But I'm like If I can quite for 3 months and rarely think about it then I'm not addicted.

 

Urhhh its different for everyone. Just because you aren't personally addicted doesn't mean other people can't be. Weed is psychologically addictive for some people, the addict craves for the highs, or its an escape. Or something. I'm not addicted to it. But I know for some people it is addictive.

Like smoking, some people smoke socially because they enjoy it, they say they aren't addicted- does that mean smoking isn't addictive? No.
