Why did Priceline stick me at the Hotel Edison on West 47th Street? Not staying there again. The room was really small, too. 15th floor in a building from 1931. Also, the bathroom and storage for ironing board, safe, etc. we're behind regular doors. The nick on the main door came from the bathroom door swinging out from the right.

 

Bathroom was so-so...

 

I never use a hotel safe. It doesn't feel...safe?

I was in Philadelphia for the first time since May 2017. Quite warm but lower humidity anyways. All in Center City from roughly City Hall over to Independence Hall.

 

The second picture is what they turned the old Gallery Mall into. It's now mostly upscale stuff.

 

The church/temple even predates City Hall itself.

 

The "LOVE" ad was actually for Virginia tourism. Yup.

 

What's more Philly, besides sports and cheesesteaks, than Independence Hall and the Ben Franklin Bridge?
