Ugg is what I think every time I see it..

 

Thermal imagery indicates that dogs are actually cooler with their coats in the sun than they are without them. Not sure why this one was shaved, but if it's because it's a husky and they were worried about heat they went the wrong way about it. But might not be considering the one behind isn't shaved.

Yup, the shaved dog might have had some skin or parasite issue (although it doesn't look too bad). You definitely don't shave them to get them cooler as with certain other animals

 

When i see the word thermal I immediatly have two associations: 1) thermal underwear my friend used to sleep in early in the festival season. And 2) the thermal bombs in Star wars (the detonator and the even more lovely thermal imploder)

 

St Martin chapel at the seminary college I attended. Depending on when this was taken I could be in that pic somewhere! I can't tell.
