hey, until the movie Bright came out, it was one of the closest movies to the shadowrun game setting. got to love a little cyberpunk now and then

yeah, they're making at least two sequels, I heard. hope they don't cast will smith's character as neil patrick harris.

 

I remember it being a truly awful movie, granted I was fairly young and I'm into computer programming now, so perhaps I'd appreciate some aspects of it more now. Is The Matrix cyberpunk?

I don't hear it usually classified as such but then I also have heard that much of it is based off William Gibson's Neuromancer, which from my understanding is the epitome of cyberpunk.
