that's so true

 

My office has this looong hall that stretches across the length of the building, so if you're coming the opposite way of someone it's like a couple of horribly awkward minutes of making that same tight smile, looking down so you dont stare too hard and come off as crazy, looking up and smiling again so you dont seem rude and awkward, down again so you dont stare...and finally muttering a stiff "hello" when you finally pass. It's the actual worst lol

 

lol I remember at my last job, the elevator served as the perfect backdrop for awkwardness. I don't mind small talk, but there was always that one guy in the building...who just couldn't shut up on a Monday morning, telling you his life story.

 

Swooped down on you like a Comcast sales rep at the nearby Newington, CT Walmart? (Newington is served by COX cable, however!)
