Golden Gate Park in San Francisco earlier this month: a drum circle at the bottom of Hippie Hill.

 

Took this picture in Wales this Weekend Of an old Factory building !
What makes it really interesting is that if you look carefully on top of it you can see a Machine gun Blockhouse from the War

The Pontcysylite Aqueduct in Liangollen carries Canal boats 126 ft High over the river dee it was built in 1805 By Thomas Telford and is a world Heritage Site and a Grade One listed Monument

 

LEAP DAY
February 29, 2016

Most Leap Days pass without much attention but I remember one a dozen years ago, which I mentioned as I sat at my computer making my first Webpage in 2004. Earthlink, which I have had as my ISP since the late 1990s offered me 8 Websites at the time but I never took the time or effort to use one until this date. (Those pages are still sitting there but Earthlink quit supporting them in 2013, so I can no longer edit them)



So, I sat down and constructed my first one as Shale, my name on several Forum Boards to hide a little from search engines. (Yeah, Google your name and see all the silly comments you made on a forum board show up.)

But Shale is also the naughty persona of Rob so my first Webpage was sort of a personal porn site with my writings on sexuality as well as risqué fotos.



A young friend on Hip Forums who contacted me for info on being a Hippie in the '70s managed to look up Shale's site just by using my e-mail address. I had no idea a kid could do that. He was15 at the time and doesn't seem to have been harmed by seeing my stuff at such a young age. We are still friends on facebook and I am also friends with his mother and wife.

 

Programming board I constructed for an Atmel tiny2313a chip ... probably about 6 mo. ago.

 

Must be a bomb....

 

obviously lol (building a bomb with a microcontroller is trivial) ... i hope precrime doesn't come arrest me.
