I must have been around 16 or 17 when these photographs were made.

It is getting darker and darker with age, I guess it started darkening up at the age of 8 or 10 or so.

Aw..thank you Nisha. I really do think I look like a peanut in the one with the yellow shirt. My nose was all crinkled.

 

What was up with your hair in the photo? It looks like someone butchered it. Don't take that the wrong way though... I'm not insulting you or anything. Just wondering.

 

My brother had cut my curls one day when I was sleeping. He did a terrible job so my mom had to have my hair cut. I never really did have long hair as a lil' girl. I was pretty much a tom boy too.

 

Ahh, I see. When my mother was a child, her hair looked the same way because they cut it at home. That's why I was wondering. Good ol' home haircuts!

The funny thing is your mom is probably not that much older than me.
Ya, we did have those silly home haircuts. My brother had the bowl haircut for awhile.LOL!!!!

 

Oh no, she's quite a bit older than you. She just turned 50.

 

I am not really that old. Tis I 30. That is not too far out of my youth.

 

Yeah, I don't consider 30 to be old at all. I work with a guy who is over 30, but I think of him more as someone my age.
