this is true, or at least I originally thought so. I am hungry again because I read a damn food thread not good for the thunder thighs.
This is false. I know what you mean though, I was up like 24 hours, midnight - midnight and I just awoke from like 5 hours sleep. Eh I feel alright though, maybe drinking too much caffeine...
it doesn't matter if do or don't I have a nocturnal 4 yr old, and an internal clock that doesnt effing like going to sleep at dawn. At least I can use caffeine to keep up- sometimes
There is an objective reality, but what is real to us is highly subjective. Note that I use the word reality fairly loosely. It's only real if you decide it's real and all that.
I bought a quarter on friday, so I have loads and loads. Just thought you'd be happy to know that about me.
He said, "Who believes in reality?" I put my hand up. Then he said, "There really is no reality. We're presented with a reality, and we rarely reject that. But it's not the truth." I have little idea what that means and it's doing my head in. I'd love to have a discussion about it but I'm too dumb to go into the Philosophy forums... And people don't reply quickly and maturely in the Mind Fuck forums.
We all perceive what happens around us - the world of space and time, "reality" - in a certain way, everyone perceives this with varying degrees of difference. Reality is true in the sense that it is the parameters in which our body is forced to exist. And so on, and so forth.. I could go on, but I won't; you can find plenty of similar existensialist quasi-philosophical crap in the P&R forums. What does this guy teach? He sounds more interesting than any of my teachers.
