I didn't like driving high either when i smoked regularly. First off, I wanted to chill out and be un-stressed and I find driving stressful. Second, I don't like driving under the influence of any substance. Heck, even coffee is weird to drive under.
I am relatively new to this and find that when ever I smoke...I do become paranoid sometimes...not all the time...but I find it a deterrent from doing it again... Mainly, cuz I don't like that feeling!
Read my post on the previous page for an insight to why you may experience that feeling. You gotta just weigh the benefits to the negatives. It's a personal choice.
me neither, i can't do it. i have friends who seem to be completely competent while driving high, but i just can't do it. i can do pretty much anything else normally if i have to, but driving is just too much.
Someone earlier mentioned taking a break from smoking now and again and I think there's a lot to be said for that. Also your tolerance will dip down and maybe you can smoke less to get the same effect... Also I find these days that about 20% of strains seem to have a bad effect on me.. so I really try and stick with what I know wont make me feel like **** the next day
Just something else that was brought up in here... I actually meant to address it earlier but totally forgot. The reason my consumption is at the level it is and I don't take breaks, is because I use it as a medication... It is necessary to keep the levels in my body at a certain point... If I don't then all that happens is I get stoned... Something I enjoy mind you, but something that takes me a week or so to recover (get back to my normal) from after I go back to smoking normal... The other issue was functioning... When you smoke everyday, you do not get stoned. You are still effected, but not, get fried and giggle your ass off stoned... it just doesn't happen. When I first get a new strain in that is significantly different then what I was smoking, I get a day or two where I can get really fried. After that, its back to just mellowing me out.
