pot and parents.... (serious discussion)

these people sead that teens that smoke with there parents are basicly losers and don't respect there parents. what is bull. I have much respect for my parents. they taught me well like right from wrong and stuff. they are o hippies. and its not like we smoke all the time. just on like holidays and on camping trips and stuff. I got mad cuz people were mean to me kinda and sead I was a dumb ass if I smoke weed with my parents. normily I don't let people make me mad but if they do. some times I'll tell them off.

 

ok what the hell is your problem man. it shows you have some deep issues. can you not take any opinions other than your own?? I swear you are one of the most closed minded people here. other than cursing at someone with an opinion, why dont you sit back and think about things. and no one called you a dumbass. you were the first person to flame me for stating my opinions. you have some deep hatred somewhere, and its kinda obvious now you are a bit abnormal, especially going to internet forums to flame people.

if you dont stop with the cursing, and flaming people, you will be banned. there are more constructive things to say or do.

 

well if you do, then why do you think you need to go out and curse at them and tell them to fuck off?? if you feel that way about your parents, then why the need to show your anger?? alot of people show their anger because deep down they know something is wrong and they dont want to admit it. so thanx again for proving my point.

aaawww is that supos to make me mad. and I only told the people that were rude to me to go fuck off. I just sead that I smoked with my parents and they sead i was a burn out. which is not true. and that is all I half to say about this topic.

 

If you are happy with your upbringing and you have a good relationship with your folks then I say don't worry what other people think. You don't have to prove yourself to others.

Every family is different. Everyone's upbringing is different. I see no harm in stating the point that you feel your life is fine and that your parents were good parents. What worked for you might not work for others. That is okay too.

If I have said anything in any of my posts in this thread to of made you feel like I was putting you down, I apologize.

dude what is so wrong about smoking pot its a beautiful thing and i think you should do it with whoever you wnat parents included people worry way to much about unimportant things like this and not enough about more important things like the aids crisis or pregant teenage girls w no place to go its ridiculous

 

I can almost bet those pregnant teenage girls smoke pot and drink too...and as far as them not having anywhere to go...excuse me for being blunt, but...that's their own fault. They should have kept their pants on and their legs closed. Or at least been mature and responsible enough to use protection.

I'm sorry but I don't feel sorry for them...AIDS crisis on the other hand, is a different story. I do believe that it is important and serious, but that's not what this thread is about.

uhhh..... pregnant teenage girls with no place to go?? they probably smoked and drank with their parents too......... I would say more times and not, they probably did. either that, or their parents didnt care. and dont give me a sob story about pregnant teenage girls with no home....... they chose to have sex, did they not?? they have to deal with the consequences. they can close their legs, or at least have safe sex.

besides, what you people dont seem to understand is POT IS ILLEGAL. so, no, it isnt right!! however you really think it is. especially with impressionable teenagers.

 

I agree with much of what you're saying. But who cares if it's illegal? Just because something is illegal, doesn't make it wrong. I personally think it's bullshit that drugs are illegal -- especially pot.

There are so many bogus laws, and I am sure there are some you break quite often, without even knowing it. Do you always drive below the speed limit? If not, that makes you a law breaker as well.
