They say I need a new antibiotic and yo find out what bacteria is in my blood as they fear it could worsen fast and kill me.

It must be VERY scary for Angel.

I am hooked up to a new antibiotic. When they find one that works they say they can send me home with a full course.

 

Get them to add a bottle of Brandy to the drip Angel darlin' - that should kill off any infection !!!

I just received this from her.
Some personal words left out of course.
She is obviously referring to being back in hospital:

'I'll let you know when they find an antibiotic that works.
Sucks to be here’.

It could be the shock of the fluid being a different temperature, or as you change the bag getting a rush of fluid diluting the blood in your vein. The blood will not fully mix until it reaches your heart chambers.
It is vital that you bleed the line correctly at the cannula if the previous bag runs out. This avoids the possibilities of introducing air bubbles into your vein.
Carrying a bag around with you makes things far more hit and miss than when you are in the hospital bed. When you left the hospital, were you given full instructions on setting up the tube, bleeding any air and setting drip rate.?

I have taken out any personal words of course, but this is the latest situation:

'I'm told that I may be released this weekend. It depends upon the fire marshal giving a good report about the safety of my house whether I get to go home or am sent to an assisted care facility, if you can believe it!
Yards of American government red tape.
Still fighting that bacteria in my blood.
Poor Bob was up all night cleaning and making changes to get the house ready for the inspection.
Please let the others know.
I am too shaky to type on my phone anymore now.’

To keep everyone informed I am posting just a little of your situation now as received a short time ago by PM.
Redacted so as to not give too personal stuff out online.

I keep hoping and praying somehow someway this will all be over very soon Sister.

'Still in hospital.
The fire marshal was not satisfied with the conditions at my house.
Never mind thai Bob was up for 2 days straight cleaning and making repairs.
I am devastated.
I got so upset I couldn't eat supper, and I was crying until my head was aching.
I slept a few hours and dreamed I was home.
Wish I was.
It's hard though, not being there to help.
He apparently has to throw away a bunch of our stuff. Including our carpets’!

How awful is that HIP friends?

What with the illness and one thing and another it doesn’t get any worse than this.

I feel awful and helpless in trying to help you because you are thousands of miles away.

It would be wonderful if you were close, Brother. I would have your physical help, I'm sure. At least I feel your presence in spirit.
I still don't know where I'm to be sent. Evergreen is the nearest but doesn't want me because my husband got too verbally abusive with them last time I was there. He is quick tempered and hard to reason with sometimes.
Keep praying for me, Brother and Sister, anyone who will.
