    What she said:

    What she meant:

    Now YOU listen:

You slept with two people in such quick succession that either could be the father here, you have NOT clarified that this kid WOULD have a stable father, which IS important (even if that "father" is a woman, having a couple as parents is pretty important). Your answer to this mystery is a "psychic", instead of the ACTUAL methods that exist to tell you this information beyond a shadow of a doubt. Pull your head out of your ass and blink in the daylight.

"waaa, carrying a baby is no fun" WELL THEN DON'T DO IT, bitch. You had the option to not have sex, you had the option to have safe sex, you had the option to use bitch control, a host of implants, hormonal and copper, etc. You got knocked up, so now there's no bitchin' about either carrying a baby or the steps needed to avoid carrying it. And either way, it's JUST physical pain, which, quite frankly, ain't SHIT.

It is absolutly better to get an abortioon if you do not have someone who is committed to being a dad, and not until you break up, but period. And if the kid's born and you have a REAL test, you damn well better not be chasing down some guy who has nothing to do with this situation anymore, daddy's the one who's been there. You can choose who it is, but then you can't change that decision. It doesn't matter who's DNA it is, it matters who's ready to step up.

As for telling you to get an abortion, yes I will, thankee very much. When I see you scolding all those self rightous bitches who think that they have the right to say something in favor of male circumcision, then I'll consider redacting this. But someone needs to tell you to abort this and get your shit together, because you obviously can't see that you need to on your own.

I have a friend who thinks in a manner painfully similar to you.

*edit* for those who see it differently, I called her a bitch.... if you'd like to be less sexist, substitute dick, or asshole, or something. it's not a sexist jab, it's a "close your mouth and start thinking" jab.

Male circumcision is an extremely fucked practice. If the skin wasn't supposed to be there it just wouldn't be. So i'm with you on that one.

You have no idea the kind of emotional pain that comes with abortion. Or the pain that comes with handing away your child to someone else. You make it sound so casual like it's the only alternative in a situation like this.

Having a biological father and male role model in a child's life is definetly preferable. Children get by without it, single parenthood is a lot more human then killing it. Like she said she has the support of her family. I'm sure there's a responsible family member in her life that can advise her little one.

What's with this preachey get an abortion you dumb bitch speech? You really have no idea what your asking her to do. You're very condescending. Even if she does need an extreme reality check...... I mean a psychic is no replacement for a DNA test.

Your comparing advising someone to murder their child basically or hand it away to a stranger... to getting some skin chopped off your dick.

I'm sorry some self righteous bitch told you an uncut dick is disgusting or something. But get over it.

Who are you to say that I have no idea the emotional pain of losing a child?

It was obvious. Considering the entire response was in reference to everything Roor was saying.

I'm comparing skin chopped off my dick to her complaining about the physical issues that go along with carrying or aborting a child, and using the hypocracy of those who seem to think in a manner similar to her to make a point. I'm not making her have an abortion (as people who favor circumcision will do, they don't ask the baby first) I'm telling her that maybe she could benefit from it.

She's obviously not the most stable, and frankly, shouldn't have a kid for the kids sake.

I like the fact that you, unlike her, are actually using logic, but think about it once more: DNA doesn't matter, a father is the one who was there being a father. I'm currently stuck with being told I'm a father, but that my kid's over a year old. WELL shit, you probly should have decided who was going to be the father BEFORE this, huh? As it is, I missed the time to have any rights as a father, to even know my kid, now I'm just a technecality, the nice guy who didn't skip town and who wasen't ruled out by DNA test yet.

My point is that who the father is does not MATTER, and if a psychic making up some bullshit about who the father is would change who she treats as the father, she should NOT have a kid. If you're having a kid, you do need to be in a stable situation, with a father who will be too. You don't EVEN need to be "with" him, you just need to be on good terms and both be devoted to what you've got to do together.

If whos DNA the kid has would affect ANYTHING, she's NOT a fit mother, IMO. Parents are not about DNA, but about parenting, and if she can't see this she's not ready in the least.

A kid needs to cross boundries of failed relationships, and even genetics, for what's best for the kid. And she's starting out a perfect paranoid psychic belevin' drama queen saga here. Fucked up kid with daddy issues in 3, 2....

AH yes. I agree on that. I think OP needs to wake up and smell the coffee and think about what is best for her child. A psychic can't determine who the father of her child is.

My advice: Try to grasp basic things like common sense and at least a little bit of rationality before bringing this child into the world. Seeing as you slept around without either insuring that you couldn't get pregnant or getting the morning after pill, you are all this new human being is going to have in terms of foundation support and guidance. You will have to make it good.

As for making a family with the father, wake up into the real world. A child can never make a couple or a healthy relationship.

Get a DNA test, for your child and its father's sake, inform him, and get the support he is legally entitled to provide. Expect nothing else. You have no right to it.

If you're not careful, in 18 years time you're going to have created a person who is pregnant and doesn't know who the father is and thinks the solution to all is talking to strangers over the internet who believe they hear voices from an invisible and unprovable spirit world.

I love this forum. People should be able to come on here and ask questions without getting verbally vomited on. A few of you even could have sent her a PM and REALLY made a difference in her life and maybe her childs also...

Views which do not correlate with your own are not necessarily "verbal vomit", and when the undeniable truth does not match your world view that is not a problem with the truth, but with you.

I think I'm in love.

Just a general observation: Personally I'm more inclined to pay heed to someone's views on a subject if they seem to genuinely love and respect me as a human being.

But hell, maybe that's just me. ;)

I figure when somebody starts using terms like "undeniable truth," the conversation has obviously turned to religion. ;)
