Maybe you could actually make it clear what you're saying. Unsurprisingly, I find people tend not to do that in this section of the forums.

 

I thought my reticence might prod you to think a bit more deeply yourself. But fine, I can spell it out for you - I figured I would probably need to do that eventually. The point is that science is NOT a religion, however from my personal study of various posts of yours over a few months, it appears to me that you have a tendency to treat it as if it were.

Thank you for a little more clarity, although that is precisely what I thought you were saying. You are welcome to have that view of me although I sincerely disagree. Reason forms a large part of my mindset as i feel it should for any healthy person, and my views tend to come from a logical perspective rather than the land of fantasy. That will come out in my speech which I think is no bad thing.

Unlike the religious or "psychics", I present nothing as fact when it really isn't, so I think my objective viewpoint could probably just be taken by you for the value it has and you can be content with that. I can offer no more. I certainly can't offer pretty fairytales, although I know a good number of pretty truths.

Fingermouse dear, have you forgotten all the fun times we've had together? Perhaps you haven't cherished them the way I have...but it's not a problem, I can be strong and bear the sadness of unrequited love.

Perhaps you have not retained a sense from our various previous discussions that "reason forms a large part of my mindset" as well. Perhaps this was not a perception you acquired of me from those discussions. If so, I can bear this as well, though I will of course cry my heart out in my bedchamber at night.
