What happens when your blood pressure goes up or your back flares up? How about doing what mothers have done for the last few million years-you don't have to take the pills that they put you on. Why don't you start exercising now. Go for some nice walks-good for BP-and start doing some physical exercises-working on your stomach muscles is excellent for your back (it takes the strain off of your back). My area has special yoga classes for pregnant mothers and then mommy/baby yoga.
These are more intoxicating than taking a hit from a joint occasionally.... Once tolerance level drops, Adult human get high with very little inhaled, Leaving very little for growing baby in womb..
Yes, but a little is still not none... again, pregnant women obviously can't avoid all toxins, but they CAN avoid ones that they themselves put into their bodies, and consequently the bodies of their unborn children, however little it may be. And we still dont really know how much of an affect that little bit may do - to an unborn human who's still developing and has no real defenses other than being in the womb. Who's to say a little pot doesn't have a greater affect on a fetus (who's never smoked, let alone breathed air) than a fully grown person.
thc is nontoxic...burning plant matter is not...do quarter doses...lsd is also nontoxic non addictive...just sayin
I'm not so sure about that one. I don't know of any studies off hand. there's some alt medicine that you might want to check out
Both, however, are potent psychedelics with all sorts of potential effects on the brains and receptors therein of a fetus. Potential effects aside, again, nobody has any right to dose a human with a psychotropic without their knowledge in any normal circumstance, including this one. Nice try, though.
I was joking....I say get over it and stop for 9 months...as for the changing of receptors I doubt it and the mind of a child is plastic...any "damage" can be be fixed...your mind only adjusts itself when it learns...or certain diseases could lead to cells killing themselves...
If you can't go 9 months without it, that says allot right there. But I know nothing about smoking pot when being pregnant. But I know I would never smoke pot while pregnant. If something happened I could never forgive myself.
ok, this is a study that I found on the web. I can't confirm any of this independently, this is just what comes up with a simple search for "effects of marijuana on fetus" "Smoking Marijuana While Pregnant Could Have Lasting Effect on Fetus" http://www.webmd.com/baby/news/20030325/marijuana-may-harm-fetus this was a rat study. the results are supposedly consistent with effects on the human fetus, but there were too many potential confounding factors to know what the effects were coming from (e.g., the mothers also drank alcohol, used other drugs, smoked, possibly bought laced bags, etc). this study says that children that had mj smoking mothers were likely to become hyperactive, but that hyperactivity did not last into adulthood. there were however lasting negative effects on learning and memory. it's probably better to try something like meditation, gentle exercise, dietary changes, and acupuncture/acupressure while you're pregnant. if you really must smoke, maybe you could cut back as much as you can
there is indeed such as thing as brain plasticity, but that does not mean that a child can undergo unlimited brain damage without harm.
we aren't discussing unlimited...though they can take a lot...you can go in there and chop one entire fucking hemisphere...the brain is fucking epic.
