I got a swap gift that I don't think I'll ever use... its a green, rubbery watch that's water proof. I'm sure I'd wear if I was still lifeguarding but the screen on it is teensy tiny...making it rather useless when I want to quickly check the time. I fully intend on regifting it
Regifting FTW! My dad and our friend both bought Daniel the first 6 Harry Potter dvds so we kept one set and gave the other one to another friend for Christmas. I don't normally lie when I regift, either, I tell them exactly what's up. Last year at the Christmas party at work, I ended up getting a bottle of perfume, a thing of pepperminty shower gel, and a blue shower loofah and I kept the gel and the loofah, but I gave Dan's sister the perfume. And it was actually put to good use by all the girls she lived with. Haha.
A few years ago, I had about 15 people give me bath stuff and lotions. I had a serious overload of smelly shower gels and loofahs and lotions. I had to regift some of them...there was an overabundance! Getting all of the Harry Potter DVDs is awesome, though! Bryan and I are trying to collect them all on bluray (without spending $150 to get the special "set" that has its own special box). So far, we have the last 3 on bluray.
I got a gift card for a store I never shop at. Expensive home dec stuff does nothing for me when I have 3 kids to wreck it.
So you go to that store, find someone with at least that amount of purchases in their cart and offer to sell the card to them. Hey, they're going to be paying for it one way or another, why not?
The cold that someone left at my house for me and did not leave a gift receipt so that I could return it.
