I bit the bullet today and voted for Kerry. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't vote my conscious, but I really wanted to see Bush lose, and my parents really wanted me to vote Kerry. That's interesting, just today on NPR they mentioned that for the 2008 election third-party candidates may start using the internet to receive contributions (big or small) from anyone willing to help out their campaign. They were saying that a charismatic candidate with a grass-roots campaign and a strong-following (not Nader) may actually stand a chance in the next election if he is adequately funded. I don't know if we can find an ideal candidate like that before the next election, but it may be hopeful.
those are my thoughts exactly. in fact, i was gonna make a thread stating that and i prolly will puke by midnight.
you might have to hold out a couple of days, because I dont think this election will be finalized tonite. there were 90 thousand pre-election ballots in florida, and if it gets really close, they have to count all of those too. who knows, really, I dont really think it will be determined tonite any time soon.
well, yeah, i know. they already said that PA has 1200 absentee ballots that wont be figure out until 9:30 a.m.- but im expecting it to last longer then that. still, if i dont see an improvement in an hour... im gonna have to get sick. i have a very very bad feeling for this country and the world.
pfft you guys are worrying too much........ you do know that the biggest electorate state needs to come in yet, and that is california, which will probably go for kerry. so just hold it in for awhile.
as am i, crystal. i just cant take this. LET THE FOREPLAY END!!! IT'S TIME TO HAVE THE ORGASUM!! that makes sense to me but i make dumb analogies.
yep ive been doing that too. and babbling a lot... hey crystal? is bush wins... wanna move to canada with me?
well, it looks to me that kerry is pretty much winning PA........ florida is really close and ohio, but bush leads those.
here is the results of the voting in NH US President race George W. Bush (R) 125390 John Kerry (D) 132355 Ralph Nader (I) 1201
I'd like to apologize for florida in advance. When i voted today the lines were super long and i mostly saw old people voting because they have nothing better to do. Most young people here are too lifestyle and image obsessed to stand in a long line and vote.
Well, I voted for Kerry but I am afraid that it does not look too good for him. 197 electoral votes vs. 112. Ouch! But, it's not over yet............ But I'm happy that Barack Obama wone here in Illinois for the US Senate. Hopefully Democrats at least take over the Senate............. ~namaste~
our forefathers would be PISSED at what is going on in this country!! and im serious!! im thinking of seriously going and getting who ever wants to go and help with expenses and all to make it cheap for everyone to get there....
yeah obama won!! and the republicans had to drag alan keys over there just to try to beat him, lol, wasnt even close. good to see a democrat gain a seat in the senate. hopefully alan spector will lose in PA too, that will be another gain...... and I think jim bunning was almost losing in KY, it was really close last I saw.
