I guess if you take the average then to be honest 6 to 8 euros a gram will cover most decent strains of grass. I've paid as little as 3 euros for Thai grass to 11 euros for for some SSNYD at the Tweede Kamer (double that for more for one of their 'high end' hashes). Maybe it's because I tend not to frequent the RLD but generally, I'd be wanting reassurance (and super stinky buds) if I'm paying more than 8 per gram for grass. I was over at New Years again and tried the above, the reliable old Jack Herrer, a silver bio and a special from the coffeeshop (Bullwackie) local to my relatives and the Hazes and Bio's from Rokerij. Oh and a hash from Katsu but I can't remember the name. I can recommend them all and only the SSNYD cost more than 8 euro a gram (assuming my memory is fit!). As for shopping in the traditional sense, I found most places open until 6pm at least - it all depends on what you're looking for but there's later night shopping on Thursday/Friday. I'm with Nemisis on the sending it back idea - I think in fact we've both said the same thing in the past (i.e. I won't repeat myself here - search the forum). Never mind sending it - how pissed off does everyone get when they clear customs with no intervention and curse themselves for not taking the chance just the once? There were a few days of heavy snowfall while I was there and the canals were freezing over; it was an amusing stoned experience - 3 of us went out at 3am, drew obscenities in the snow and built snowmen on neighbours doorsteps to greet them in the morning!
