Oh you're right bro. I was a junkie (not a full blown doper, just an Oxy fiend, not that it matters too much) for 3 years and, even though most of the time I could fuck just fine, when I cleaned up I got random, almost grade school-type boners out of absolutely nowhere. As in, instead of waking up with a five minute boner, I'd walk around for twenty minutes with a hard on every morning. It really was crazy.

But when I was going through withdrawal, well, what the fuck. Having a raging boner that won't go away is rather odd while you're simultaneously shitting your pants and heaving the scant contents of your stomach into a waste basket...

Side note: Opiates are an awesome high for people responsible enough to know their limit. If one can pop an Oxy once in awhile without discovering that -- oh crap! -- you can't get out of bed without one, more power to you.
