A few months back i was trying to make some purple drank, but couldnt get the codeine cough medicine. so, i had 4 codeine pills, and a bottle a robotussin maximum cough(active ingredient DXM), some sprite and jolly ranchers. Well, long story short me n my friend mixed the ingredients together. and it wasnt purple at all, more of red, gooey, and a taste of complete butthole. It did get you messed up though. FOr some reason, i only get a dxm effect from coricidin cough and cold. I have experimented many times with robo, and not much luck. Just when i take c's i trip. But after my friend puked his guts out of the red, he started to trip. He said it was like slow motion floating with some minor tactile patterns. Then we smoked a bowl, and that always adds to the DXM trip, but somewhat cancels out the full effect of the codeine. As for me, i felt a slight dex trip, but mostly just the mild codeine high. Worth it. IDk if it helped you, but its good to get an idea of what your getting yourself into. so go for it
