i've seen deadmau5 by accident because my friend made me miss underworld, anyway i had to see deadmau5 instead and it was epic. that was 2008 and i listened to a lot of his music and he has a lot of shit songs but he has so many that there are a lot of dirty house bangers.

i know exactly how deadmau5 performs, he plays his own music off of grooveboxes and synths.... did you actually know that or did you think he just spun records?

 

bump for 4fa nasal about ~150 mgs, not overly impressive effects but definitely content.

 

Shiv, I know you enough to know you aren't reckless and so mostly, I'm certain you'll do fine. You do your homework and that's the best one can do.

I really did give this some thought and I don't know if I can say whether they will provide you with more insight than lucy or not. And we're all different. I would suggest one thing though... when the time comes try not to go into it with the intent of having everything laid out for you the first time. I saw in an earlier post you are going to dip your toes in first, not a bad idea if you feel better doing that. You've seen other opinions so go with your heart.
For me, I've had experiences where things just pop out, like eureka moments but from what you described, what you want to work on is a multi-faceted, deeply intertwined deal, like a tangled ball of string. My suspicion is that it may be a thing where you untangle a few knots, spend some time integrating those like ThisMoment said, (he's a wise cat, listen )then journey back, etc.
The best I could share with you is to remember to be gentle with yourself, be open, and stay safe.

As for lucy, I'm going to see how I handle my shrooms before embarquing on a 12h journey, but I DO hope to get there eventually.

About my issues, you are correct. Well, actually I've done alot of the work without psychedelics. It's weird. It's like I know what ''screwed me up'', but it's like theres a missing link on how to ''fix'' it. I dont know if that makes any sense... I had a rough childhood, I remember most of it (I think), but just knowing about it can only take me so far... I feel like I need something to kinda... I dont know to be honest! haha

all that being said, it does seem like the mushroom is going to be willing to teach me what it has to teach me

 

Wise words, and Shivaya: I turned to hallucinogens and entactogens when I finally figured that pharmaceuticals don't really get to the heart of issues, if anything, they often just mask or dull problems but the problems persist and you develop addictions to new drugs from doctors, and dude, you do NOT wanna go that route, trust me. I'm myself in a maze of about 13 or 14 drugs for this, that, and the other, most of which though, are sadly psych meds. I don't really take the Geodon or Wellbutrin since I find tripping gets to the heart of beafy, meaty, deep-seeded issues much better, but I've wicked addictions to Klonopin and shit like that. Really, with the right set, setting, intent, goals, and focus, you can accomplish leaps and bounds, tripping in nature, especially on shrooms, by yourself and meditating on what's eating at your soul.

I hope you find peace bro, whatever these hauntings of yours may be. Perhaps do the silver chain and crystal thing to channel spirits out in the woods or desert, or at a cemetery, while tripping this time around. Ask the spirit realm for guidance during your trip. I'm not joking either. It could help, those spirits around who've passed on to hyperspace and beyond have some powerful means of communicating. I used to channel spirits a lot as a child, it's been some time, but oddly in jail the other day some dude was talking about that when I was explaining what DMT does and it comes to mind as a potential means of assisting you on this journey.

Hey Shivaya, have you had a San Pedro/Peruvian Torch/Peyote/mescaline experience man? I find that aside from mushies and LSD, that the other original psychedelic, mesc, is among the three best soulcatching, healing drugs there ever has been and ever will be. Just my opinion, but miprocin or 2C-E, great as they are, are really kinda candy compared to acid, shrooms, and mescaline. I really hope you find what you need.

 

No problem. Thank you for your kind words cosmo. As for San Pedro/Peruvian Torch/Peyote, all three are legal here and I am growing some of each but they are far from being ready.

 

So 4fa is an interesting one.

I ended up going through about ~350 mgs. The experience had about 3 stages via insuffalation...

1) The onset hits pretty much directly after snorting and it comes on similar to cocaine and lasts somewhere like 10-30 mins. Highly euphoric and somewhat intoxicating.

2) The cocaine effects gave way to a plateau that's pretty much amphetamine with a more tactile edge and this was the majority of the experience.

3) After the plateau, the comedown is slow and kind of creates a scattered hallucinatory mind. I found the visual hallucinations with 4fa extremely unique, they were of a different nature than hallucinogens and different nature than the hallucinations I often attributed to amphetamine psychosis after a binge. I was getting some true hallucinations in the dark such as seeing a coffee cup, a bowling ball that had a hand on it and these shadow people moving between shadow pillars. I was also getting significant auditory hallucinations and some conspiracy type thinking.

I found these last two stages of the experience reminded me a bit of mdpv but I found 4fa far more enjoyable and interesting. However, I probably won't be buying anymore after this current batch I have as I was also getting pretty significant audio hallucinations and sort of felt like what I remember of my psychotic break from bath salts, I find this drug very moreish like mdpv/mephedrone as well so I got about one more day's worth with this stuff but due to previous problems with this type of drug, I probably won't explore it any further and I don't see any potential for this chemical beyond recreational use.

 

Thanks for the report bedlam, interesting stuff. Although it doesn't sound like my cup of tea I always enjoy reading your 2 cents on such things.

Yay for good friends, great drugs, and one of you, Hallucinations perhaps but shermin and GB if you're making it, please bring a stereo with CD's, an iPod and if you Hall, that Nano plus your portable iHome device, then we can have tunes while we trip, roll, nod, relax, smoke and all the rest! Hurray! It's going to be an exccccccccccccccelente day!

EDIT: BTW, gotta agree with GB about Phish, STI, DMB, or any of that 90's jam band crap that came in the wake of 'Touch of Gray' that those bands are all Grateful Wishtheyweredead wannabes. But hey, I love Led Zeppelin, Motorhead, and then also, Def Leppard and Poison. So music is a touchy subject here. I've teased about 411 with porkstock, Slipknot and the like with GB (who I'm friends with IRL), and I've found, if it ain't Bassnectar or Shpongle basically, nobody is of unanimous opinion music-wise. So music tends to be light fare here to chat on the topic of. Anywhooo though, long live the Dead and RIP Jerry!

Well since you brought it up... :afro:

6 apb is more on the psychedelic side of entactogens and 4fa is more on the stimulant side of entactogens. I'm probably nitpicking with the following info but since both words exist hopefully it sheds some light... The term empathogen and entactogen tend to just get lumped together but I find a difference here, I wouldn't consider 4fa an empathogen, it doesn't create the cognitive emotional open mind of 6apb or MDMA, it's more in the vein of euphoria and mental stimulation a la cocaine.. I don't find them interchangable, I'd use them in different ways.

I'm sure you can relate to a degree with like how something more mentally manifesting like LSD is compared to alot of the 2cx.

 

You should try oral 4-FA. I read it's the best way...and/but the only way I've tried it.

i guess you could say that. but i'm not lying. i truly didn't enjoy shpongle any of the half dozen or so times i've given it a listen. it was never TERRIBLE, but never my 'cup of tea.' i've never tried listening when i was tripping though
