I recall that too and just as I have nothing to hide or prove here, I also am not too high on my horse to admit to being wrong.
Dealing with survivor's guilt, depression & crippling anxiety have taken me to dark places this last year. I'm just happy to see closure to old psychic wounds.

Now I have ample free time to geek out on indie rawk and biochem with you man :)
I really do know Doug Martsch, I even served him java and brewskies. Cool dude he is.

So take me seriously or not, but I'm no liar nor hypocrite and like with Spicey whose been a great supportive gal, I'd like to think you'd be happy for me too. Even if I ambled this way toward responsible use.

I'm watching Cast Away tonight and dosing some MXE for it. I have to write a 6 page review/commentary about a movie so I chose that.
I have to say gabapentin is such a wonderful drug. I really want to get prescribed some; it is amazing in so many ways. Thoughts flow so easily; my mind is sharp and attentive yet I also feel really chill and feel good.

My english class this is due for is the basic intro course so it's cool I can just use a thesaurus to make my main point look fancier. It's pretty fun letting my mind sift through the best way to form sentences.

EDIT: removed quote in case my professor looked it up.

2.) DMT - The Spirit Molecule
    3.) The Quantum Activist
    4.) Merton: A Film Biography
    5.) Shortcut to Nirvana
    6.) Moog
    7.) Theremin: An Electronic Odyssey

check out the movie "brick" on netflix. it's weird, but kinda cool. i was just watching the documentary "religulous" by bill maher. then my internet connection cut out...

not a bad tune, cosmo. not my favorite, a little too laid back and folky(?) for my tastes. but not bad.

i've been working my ass off in the lab lately. i am sending out a paper for publication on wednesday, so i've been doing last minute experiments and making and re-making and re-making figures, while my boss writes the manuscript.

it'll be awesome if it gets accepted for publication. my first paper, and i'll be first author (meaning it's predominately my work)
    getting closer to that PhD

pop, why are you on gabapentin? just for fun? my lady got it prescribed for nerve pain.

Good luck. I'm still sort of trying to figure out what I'm going to college for. I attended a music therapy class at the university I plan on going to and I got to talk about Jungian archetypes with the professor and it was fucking cool. And then I went to a general biology class where the professor happened to be talking about naturally-occuring alkaloids, which are exciting as hell. I'm leaning towards majoring in bio (a bit nervous about the chemistry) but I can't give up music..

and watch The Red Balloon, on netflix. It's about a half hour and looks really nice. Also; Microcosmos, When You're Strange, Edge of Dreaming, Humboldt County

Right on porkstock, keep up the good work. And yes, Brick and Religulous are great. Too bad you ain't a fan of Neil Halstead... what about Bright Eyes or Elliot Smith or Belle & Sebastian? I myself am heading back for college to study organic chem and art history at Cal; I'm stoked :daisy:

I watched Brick and had no clue what what going on from beginning to end.

I expected religulous to bring up good arguments and be funny but he just interviewed really dumb people so it was pointless and boring.

April does not appear to be fooling. I've stumbled on a couple promising events this month...

Alex Grey is having an event where he and his wife will be doing a live painting apparently with some djs and him and James Oroc who is an author on a book about 5-meo-dmt will be giving a seminar in the evening as well.

Then on my birthday, one of my favorite hardcore djs is spinning which coincidentally appears to be his birthday as well. Very affordable tickets!

Wow I feel old, lol... to me emo is like Braid, Mineral, Jimmy Eat World, or Sunny Day Real Estate n' stuff like Mojave 3 kinda en par with Iron & Wine so more indie pop/post-shoegaze/dream pop... you kids heh ;)
Yeah I've been planning for school through voc rehab for a spell, but when I beat my ketamine possession charge I promised myself this Fall :)
May as well make attempt four and year like seven for school and officially go after my two biggest passions academicly: drugs & art.
Speaking of neat shit where all that stuff combines thanks for the heads up re: Alex Grey, he always reminds me of age 16 when I had long hair, sold acid, rode around Idaho's mountains frying and jamming to the Dead in a VW Bus smoking joints & wearing tie dyed shit cuz I had a poster of a piece of his on my wall by my black light and strobe :D

Any Bay peepz go to the MAPS deal in Frisco back in December?

    Wow dude!
There's loads of amazing Scottish music... The Pastels, The Vaselines (Nirvana covered their tunes Molly's Lips, Son of a Gun... I think one more), & Belle & Sebastian is sorta oldish like a decade old & mos def Indie Rock so no more mainstream than Arab Strap or Mogwai, some other rad Scottish Indie bands, all basically from Glasgow :)
