Well apparently the reagent page I was thinking of was to be found in the FAQ for the synthetic drugs section, haha:

From what I have experienced, and from what a few people I have spoken to have agreed on, hash seems to be less of a confusing buzz. It's sort of hard to put the difference in effects to words, but hash generally gets me much less "fucked up" - the mental effects are less muddled and clumsy as compared to straight cannabis and the body buzz is almost more powerful than with cannabis.

Some people I know only like to smoke hash because cannabis will give them really disorienting highs.

I can't believe I've never smoked hash considering how long I have been smoking (10+ years). It's just not a thing around here, unfortunately.

The best hash i ever had was in Jamaica. I got it along with a big handful of buds across the street from bob marleys house on 9 mile point. True story. The weed in jamaica is fucking amazing.

lol my mum just casually walked in there and told me she was talking to one of her college buddies today about LSD. I've had lots of conversations about psychedelics with my mum, mainly the spiritual side of things, she seems fairly interested in my concept of god, i subscribe to no religion btw though i don't dismiss the possibility of a divine consciousness.

Anyway this buddie of my mums confirmed to her today about what i been talking about with my mum so she pronounced to me in our little chat that tonight she will be doing some quality research on LSD haha

Anybody recommend some reading for my mum ?

I'm actually a little worried she finds the forums here lol

Brilliant site raga :) has exactly some of the stuff i was looking for to do with the spiritual side of things instead of the actual basic facts kinda stuff. I love Alan Watts too, wonder how my mum will take him, should rock her little christian world haha.

Glad you like it, Chris. I thought it would be what you were looking for.
I devoured the contents of that site before my first acid trip...really helpful.

Oooooh yes Alan Watts is very lovely. You can find The Joyous Cosmology online for free I believe. I'd have her read The Secret Chief as well.

I also got some 25I-NBOMe blotter last week. Pumped!

I was thinking the other day about DMT entities, and the thing that lead me to think of them was some mention of angels. I haven't seen anything referring to entities as angels, but it seems like a pretty valid interpretation. I mean, if you suppose that you are actually seeing into a separate dimension of reality, and I do believe this, then glimpsing a being which exist in this other dimension would be very much like seeing an angel in heaven or some such concept. Interesting stuff to think about. I think there's a lot to be learned from the presence of entities in DMT trips. I've never experienced it or if I have I haven't been able to recall it, but I would love to have the experience some day.

Interesting you bring up angels on DMT trip and what Porkstock mentioned about thinking twice about easily dismissing the visual phenomena. I had a friend that I turned onto DMT awhile back and I trip sat for him absolutely sober and he is what I'd guess you call a materialist. During his trip one of the only things he said was "Wow look at the angels." Then I let him discuss his experience for awhile after he came down the rest of that night and he mentioned nothing about that, then the following day I asked him what was up about him talking about angels and he claimed he didn't see any and that he never said that.

So often it seems there is talk about the appearance of entities on psychedelics come about as being products of the individual's subconscious, which I don't necessarily disagree with at this point but my story illustrates that I think it may be possible to have almost a opposite type reaction, where perhaps the individual experiences the visual phenomena of 'entities' but than they have a sort of subconscious mechanism that tries to negate those images from memory.

Wow... the MXE got out of hand tonight. I was forced through a meat grinder of morbidity. I felt like everything was stripped down to simple pixels and just processed along through some horrible machine... like excrement through the bowels of some huge digusting beast.... eating and shitting.... never ending. I was pretty sure I had lost my mind forever lol.

eatlysergicacid, that movie dmt the spirit molecule did actually refer to the entities as angels. i'd never heard that one before.

i never realized there were so many (intelligent) people who believed that dmt visions are "Real"

    Heya Pork,
I enjoyed that movie as well...made me want to try DMT!
I'm tending to come around to the notion that psychedelics remove filters rather than cause hallucinations (although they sometimes do the latter as well). I think someone who believes psychedelics induce pathological or false visions/realizations has to hold the view that our nervous-system (including mental filters) is an ideal mechanism for apprehending reality, and that any alteration from baseline or consensual reality is, by definition, a failure or a degraded state.

Personally, I am finding that there is so much of my ego-bullshit and mental constructs standing between myself and the Truth, that the function of psychedelics is to turn some of that shit OFF and leave me with unadulterated experience, as it were. (A friend who is a psych major informs me that one of the major functions of LSD and psilocybin, according to CT scans and electroencephalographs, is to shut off portions of the brain entirely, particularly those associated with intellect and conceptual thought). It wouldn't therefore shock me to learn that a much stronger psychedelic like DMT turns off more filters and gives an even clearer and more unadulterated perception of the Truth.

My shroom trip last night was super mellow. We took quite a low dose, just enough to make things a little bit magical and get some sparkly visuals with the sunlight, get into a buzzy headspace of sorts.

We drank some tea with some mushrooms in it, we also smoked a joint with dried mushroom crumbled into the weed (didn't know shrooms could be ingested that way...). Then we went outside and dug a big clearing in the snow and built a fire, smoked cigars and talked about this and that. It was a lovely evening.

I've heard that you can smoke shrooms and get effects, but it doesnt really make sense to me considering that psilosybin is destroyed by heat. Also it just seems like a bad idea to inhale tiny bits of fungus.
