I have better luck without TARE, I believe because I press the button too hard or something, and it makes the accuracy off slightly. This is why I said not to use TARE. I think the small amount of applied pressure moves the caps off balance. If you sit a chem on the scale long enough, the earth's rotation will change the weight for instance. These are very sensitive things designed for accuracy unlike .1 scales. But that's my opinion, I guess I shouldn't make it sound like it's the only way, just that it works better for me. YMMV as they say.

You are absolutely correct about the scale working best at its medium range, just didn't feel like typing on a cell phone so I "generalized" that it works better with more, as in it's better with 100mg-500mg of binder vs 5-25mg of raw powder. At 20 grams you're probably gonna break your scale's accuracy forever hah. :2thumbsup:

The $200 mg scales honestly aren't that much better. They're a little bit harder to use, and the accuracy is almost the same. I'd pick a $25 scale over a $200 scale for our intents and purposes. Now if I could afford a $1000+ scale on the other hand, me and the scale would be like :love:

I was actually just about to ask of the AL-LAD that is supposed to be going around. Have you tried any NBOMe's? Comparable? Does it have a taste and how did you take it? I'm just curious if the chemical is in fact AL-LAD and not actually an NBOMe. This would be great if it is, but I worry because I'm not aware of a legal synthesis.

Have you tried LSD, also? Would you consider it closer to LSD or NBOMe if you have tried both?

 

I have only ever even heard mention of al-lad like once. Interested to know more about it. Going to conduct a little of my own research as well.

As some of you know I'm not in the states at the moment, when I return I am thinking of having a combination trip of 30-40mgs 2ce and 150mgs MDMA. Has anyone else on here sone this combination? Doses seem appropriate and not too extreme when mixing the chems? Probably eat the mol about 30 minutes after ingesting the 2ce sorbet peak around the same time......

 

Interesting you asked that question, because it actually sort of became a part of the trip. I've used LSD four times, and never once used an NBOMe. The AL-LAD reminded me more of 4-AcO-DMT than anything which really surprised me, since I have tripped on LSD before. But the last I tripped on LSD was over two years ago. And I don't even know whether or not that was LSD! It's all set and setting, though. I could continue on about the reasons this reminds me more of 4-AcO-DMT than anything else but that'd be a waste of time..

To answer your questions, the blotter had no taste. I held it under my tongue for about twenty minutes and swallowed it and it came on quite fast, lasted a full six hours. I want to say there is little chance it isn't what is advertised. I'm not sure what you mean by legal synthesis. Look at the bluelight al-lad thread, you can find some info on the blotter there.

 

Shorter-acting and no taste. Sounds like it could be the real deal bro. That is awesome because I've been wanting to try this chem or one of its relatives (ETH-LAD, PRO-LAD, ALD-52, etc) for a while. I'll check out the Bluelight thread here in a min. I just think it's kind of funny because I was researching the current AL-LAD trying to figure out if the stuff is legit right when you posted that and was gonna come back asking about it after someone else posted on here (so as not to double-post)

I was under the impression AL-LAD wasn't already being synthesized because it took some precursors that were illegal in China as they're used in LSD synthesis. but I'm no chemist so I really only know what I've read haha. And I ended up reading just now there is a chemical that could possibly be used in the synthesis that makes it completely legal, just a little bit more pricey, which makes sense why it costs a little more than NBOMes. Of course the Chinese don't always follow the rules either, hah.

 

I have flipped 2ce and MDMA, I went with 20 mgs 2ce and 200 mgs MDMA, so the doses are considerably varied on both fronts I'd say. If you decide to stagger the doses, I'd suggest dosing the MDMA about 1 1/2 hours into the 2ce trip due to the slow onset of 2ce and you'll be peaking and closer to coming down together.

I felt pretty dehydrated at times, moreso than either on their own, so make sure you have readily accessible water. It is a beautiful combination, they compliment each other well.

 

Hmm I will for sure stagger the doses as you mentioned if taken orally, the 2ce I mean. Back in 2011 I believe it was I experimented with low dose IV 2ce administration which was blissfully intense to say the very least. I made a thread at the time. I am mildly considering a low dose, something in between 5-10mgs of 2ce as I peak on the MDMA. Would be crazy. Don't know if that will take place though.

GB did you feel as though one of the Chems overpowered the other. The 2ce, I am told by a very experienced friend is excellent quality and the mol is also very good.

 

I felt them fairly equally, 2ce dominant visuals with MDMA dominant headspace. It kind of felt like a supercharged mescaline trip.

 

mine and my brother's annual camping trip is scheduled for this weekend. we were planning to eat the last 3 of my red star microdots. well, my dad had plans to go on a fishing/camping trip with some friends from work, but that fell through. so my mom suggested that i invite my dad to go camping with us, and now he's probably gonna come. so i don't think we'll be doing LSD.
...but i know my dad has tried it back in the 70s. he has smoked weed with me a few times but not around my younger brother. so i don't think i'd be able to convince him to take acid with us

 

awesome! i like your guys camping trip. well hearing about it. Im thinking of having my own of sorts, just not necessarily with MY younger brother at the moment.

 

we gotta start getting supplies ready. i think i'll go back and read my camping trip reports from the last couple years to see if i get any ideas on different things to take or not take. we have to try to pack minimally (for us anyways) since it's such a hike into the place.

weather forecast for now is kinda bad - scattered thunderstorms both days, 40% chance of rain on friday with with the potential for severe thunderstorms, and 30% chance on saturday. maybe the forecast'll change.

last year it rained on friday night pretty bad. i stayed up most of the night worrying that the tent was gonna wash away. the level of the creek was up pretty high, and flowing fast and muddy. it'd be nicer without rain, but we will do it regardless.

 

It would be worth a shot to try and see if he would bro. Those dots were great. One of my fondest memories is taking those with my pops.

How old is your younger brother?

I don't think the dots would degrade on a few day camping trip assuming you've been storing them right so far.

 

After doing a little research into the source of the source of the source of the AL-LAD, I am 99% confident it's the real deal. There are three test results HNMR and MS, if you guys can read them, that seem to support this in addition to several trip reports.

Looks like this will be my next chemical adventure.

i've taken them camping before. i put them in a mason jar in the cooler just to err on the side of caution.

if i were to bring it up, it'd have to be at the camping spot. so i would have to bring them just in case. and if he says no, it could be real awkward for those next few moments haha
