Psychedelic Bump XXIII

Last time I took 5-MeO-MiPT was around 15mg. It actually wasn't too strong and the only anxiety was found in the bodily effects. Made me tremor a lot and left me short of breath. It didn't last very long either. It was pretty nice but nothing remarkably better than all the other rc's I've tried.

 

bump for doing kratom and mxe back to back all weekend for pain management . . . awful neck spasm but i'm glad I had options. mxe is amazing for pain, too bad its got such a strong "side effect profile" lol.

sucks about your neck pain, writer. what causes your spasms, and what are they like? is it a muscle twitch that won't stop? i get those often, but they aren't painful, so i think you are talking about something else.

are you on any anti-depressants?

I used to get those in my leg when i took cymbalta (SNRI), it's a fairly common side effect.

I get them occasionally now if I have taken tramadol for a few days in a row, which I guess makes sense since it also has SNRI activity.

 

I'm not on antidepressants. They aren't twitches, they are caused by trauma to the muscle, and are extremely painful, to the point of being debilitating and possibly confining the sufferer to their bed for more than a day.

i played sports without stretching (and without playing sports or stretching for the last year basically). when the spasm really kicked in my neck muscles were unable to support the weight of my skull and i was trapped in bed. the only thing that let me get out of bed was that i could reach for an etizolam, which thankfully relaxed it enough to let me sit up. so pretty shitty. getting one in the back is even worse . . .

best treatment is skeletal muscle relaxants like methocarbamol or cyclobenzaprine.

i've wondered if my muscle twitches have anything to do with frequent tripping, but it'd probably be more commonly reported then.

mine's not a big deal at all. it's usually slightly entertaining, unless it goes on for too long.

Introduced two friends to mdma :2thumbsup: managed to get ahold of several of these http://www.pillreports.com/index.php?page=display_pill&id=30543 dosed between 190-200+ mg supposedly, likely more along the lines of 170+ but damn strong
I took a whole one initially about 45 min before they arrived so was starting to feel pretty damn good by they time they got there. They had said they were unsure if they were going to end up doing it, as there were also around half a dozen others who were hanging out but not rolling; however, after seeing the effect it had on me by this time it didn't take too much to convince :devil: I cut two more in half and gave them the larger of the two halves produced and ate one of the smaller halves myself.

45 min in, so 1.5 tabs and 1.5 hours in for me, and I saw the pure delight creep over their faces. They both came over and expressed their gratitude and how AMAZING they were feeling; they looked like two kids in a candy store when I told them that this was the time for them to re-dose haha. I gave them each another large half and took one more small one myself. Overall it was a fantastic night; they had an absolute BLAST, saying many times over that this (the mdma) was the best recommendation substance wise that I have made to them. It had been probably 6 or 7 years since I had rolled with any mdma newbies, made it all that much more special :sunny:

Anakin, that sounds like a delightful bees trip; hoping/planning to embark on a similar dosage in the next couple weeks, my highest thus far is 35, which is my "standard" dose. Hear great things about 40-50 so definitely excited, and will have to give the candle in the dark recommendation a go, as I've now seen that recommended a few times as well!

i was excited to see that you were the most recent post in the thread since you've been gone for awhile right? but hearing that you're getting some miprocin is even more reason to get excited. welcome back, miprocin is grand.

what kind of dose do you plan on taking? i find it really good from about to 15-20 mg. my brother and a friend really liked it at 14 or 15 mg, and my one friend found 14 mg in public a little too strong

 

I would love to try 4-ho-met and 4-ho-mipt.

Yes, I have been "gone" for a while...actually I'm still "gone" (at the remote work-camp rather than in town)...but now that winter has rolled in I'm able to have private internet in my room, so I've been back around here again.

I will actually have a fair amount of the miprocin and so I will be able to dose in my favorite manner, namely: starting w/ a tiny dose and working my way up. I will probably start with 5mg (which isn't really a "dose" so much as an allergy test), then try 10, 15 etc.

I am going on a 3-month yoga retreat starting in February (God knows I love dem INWARD JOURNEYS), and during that three months I will be totally substance-free, but I did think it might be useful to do a very heavy psychedelic trip shortly before going in, and another right after coming out, just to take a kind of internal inventory. The miprocin will allow me to act on this goal...if I can find ideal setting, 20mg or slightly more might be my dose for those.
