here i sit calculating my 'microdose'
it's about 1/10th of a "moderate dose" (100-200ug)

so i take about 2 hits to trip...moderately
so about 0.2 hits should be a microdose....1/5th.....yup. that would be tiny hahah


one microdose every 4 days, for 10 weeks, that means i could do the whole microdosing regimen with 3.5 hits.


i would say after 10 weeks of microdosing...one should take 10 weeks off. and then eat 3.5 hits at once. which one was more beneficial?

 

i've seen actual microdose somewhere, tabs specifically for microdosing and iirc they are about 10ug or so each. and yea, lsd tolerance is exponential.

 

I trust the four of them that I know personally. They have a pretty expansive history of tripping at shows and festivals.
I will definitely take the whole hit. No way I'm cutting myself short, because yes, it will be my first real LSD trip.

I'll likely smoke Pot and either minidose a Mushroom stem or do Kratom.

I never really got into emo, they had a good amount of support for them as well last night.

 

That could be an interesting experiment! 10 weeks should be enough for tolerance to go away for the most part.


In other news, I dropped off my proposal and I will get to work on the 5-HT2A receptor! However, as for the ligands, my supervisor said that he probably wouldn't be able to get me hallucinogens, but I'm going to have a proper talk with him about it and see if he would be willing to get some RC's that are half well known. But I will have to have a read through drug laws and see what is available with some simplicity.

I'm taking English Composition this semester and made a list of 9 possible research topics. Everyone seemed intrigued by the idea of the therapeutic use of psychedelic drugs. I think I'm going with that. If anyone has links or anything that would help, it would be greatly appreciated.

I actually did have a bump but just forgot to post. A couple weeks ago, I did about a gram of Mushrooms and went to see these guys ... Amazing Live Band!! Their energy and stage presence was really impressive. I kind of wish I was on a higher dose of Shrooms for them, at times they pretty much overpowered the experience, but I was fairly content with the dose in some respects, as I wasn't too keen on the opening band and it was an unfamiliar setting.

I got some mild visual distortions, had some quirky altered thought patterns particularly before the bands came on, for instance being baffled about the appearance and functionality of shoe laces and most notably lots of energy. It was the lowest dose of Shrooms that I've ever done and while I was somewhat surprised at the effects that I did get, it wasn't too enveloping, I'd say a fairly appropriate dose for a social event, where alcohol was plentiful, and the people I were with were stoned and sober.

I know people who think taking a couple grams of shrooms is a "getting the fear" kind of trip. They swear by low doses for settings like a concert. For the same reasons you noticed. You know you are tripping but you have control.

 

200 mg mdma at party in a park - about 150 people, dancing and dancing and loving. High times!

I would love to research 2cb but have never seen it around. 2ce has given me meaningful trips, I might research it again soon.

 

I remember a few years back when this forum was bumpin. That felt like an era, a sort of renaissance. Too bad China banned almost everything. Glad I got to experience that time though.

 

Well, that was good for my soul.

 

2cb had more of that MDMA like feel to me. I could see how it was briefly a replacement for E. It was still a lot more trippy then enthogenic but I had a warm feeling 2c-e did not give me. Erowid says it takes around 45 minutes to kick in but I was feeling a body buzz like 10 minutes later. By 45 minutes it was much more intense though.

 

Did you mean "empathogen"?

2cb is used an entheogen for a couple different African tribes. The term "Entheogen" has religious connotations associated with it, the term "empathogen" is associated with emotional opening and empathy. I ask because a lot of trippy psychedelics like Magic Mushrooms, Ayahuasca, and Peyote are considered "entheogenic".
