psychedelics (LSD?) vs alcoholism

    I think that the effect it has on people to look at and examine unhealthy behavior can be very beneficial.

    I've thought about the risk of people getting hooked on the experience itself. I need to do more thinking about that before I can really articulate a decent response.

    My gut instinct tells me it is not nearly the risk that it could be due to the non-addictive nature of psychedelic drugs, but there will always be some who will run towards any alteration of their consciousness.

    LOL, didn't mean to miss you there. I think anyone that doses enough probably has enough self awareness to stop drinking when it becomes a problem. It's probably just not a big enough problem. Hell, some borderlines never cross over to full-blown alcoholism, in which case enjoy! :)
