lol I had a pregnancy scare once and was really tempted to park in one of those spots when I went to the store for a pregnancy test. but i resisted.
haha, did you see the one where he put a picture of his hand? He has a hard time getting practice by looking at his own hands because they're shaped kind of strangely from his handicap. He doesn't have full use of his hands because of the shape, and lack of muscle control...If you look at his first comic compared to the latest one, you can see how much progress he's made. I'm so amazed by him. Kinky Ramona- I totally agree with you. The reason there are SO many is that old people and fat people get handicap parking placards from their doctors. that's another issue that he's going to draw in his comic. He actually ends up parking all the way at the furthest end of the parking lot because he has to double park in order to get his ramp out whenever all the handicap spaces with ramp areas are taken by the fat lazy people. When he does get out of the store, sometimes people have parked around him and blocked him in, so he can't even get into his car. That's why he just doesn't go into places anymore that don't have handicapped parking available. Not when he's by himself, anyway. He's actually designing a shirt that has a handicap symbol on it, and underneath it says "No Fatties" :2thumbsup:
Tell him it sounds more like an informative, indeed, puublic service announcement cartoon strip than a comic strip.
people need to know...some people actually need those parking spots. But his webcomic in general, it's a comical approach to being handicapped. He's a paraplegic, and he lives as normal a life as he can. I think its not only a great outlet for him, but its a motivational and educational tool.
I drew a comic once in 10th grade. It was me and a bunch of my buddies looking out the window and a spaceship landing in the distance with a hatch opening and potleaf aliens stepping out trying to rule the world. Underneath it said "Armed with lighters and zig-zags finally Logan and the crew had a chance to be heros"
