Fair enough. I'm really bad with structure as well, I get bored of routines so easily and then just lost all my motivation. I hope the interview goes well! What's the job? I have an extremely important interview coming up as well, it's actually tomorrow and it's for this grad school I'm applying to. I'm nervous as hell coz I really want to get in.
jam, I hope you feel better... blah, I want to play sick this whole week... Do not feel like going to work tomorrow, I want to call in tomorrow and this weekend I have to go to a stupid work thing and I don't want to, who will go for me?? I will pay you in my armpit hair..??
you know, i think there's just something wrong with my house, like fatal fungus or something. i've never been so sick so often in my whole life. and dave is convinced something is wrong, too. because when he travels he doesn't get headaches or body aches or anything like that. but when he's home he gets sick again. so he's going to buy some carbon monoxide detectors and shit like that.
Nah, I just tell the boss to use a banked overtime day on me and do office work. I rarely use them though.
It went really well It was with the head of the development studies department, we chatted for ageees and he seemed really impressed. And he said at least three times he's going to recommend me to the admissions board and that he very much doubts they'd disagree. So it all seems very positive so far but I'm trying really hard not to get my hopes too up just yet. But, fingers crossed... I should find out in the next few days!
thanks shroomy I feel so much better today and now I kinda wanna pull a sicki so I can go out and play instead of catching up on house cleaning.. hmmph :leaving:
I dont have to pull a sickie at school, i show up 3 days a week most, and thats acceptable with my teachers. I still get good grades too.
I only ever pulled a sickie once, I called in work with 'flu' and went to see a gig instead. Felt guilty about it... Good gig though. I've not done it since though, and I get really frustrated with common offenders and long-term skivers. Just makes the job all the harder for everyone else.
About a year ago now...i was really sick but i got better and i didn't act like it. i did it for 3 days straight it was fun
