Think about it like this: If any Christian mother today were to leave her two little kids in the hands of a known child killer, and then hide behind a curtain and calmly watch as the crazed killer talked the two kids into drinking the poison, AND THEN DID NOTHING TO STOP WHAT WAS GOING ON RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER EYES, most Christians would freely admit that the woman was at best nuts, at worst an evil murderer.

Any mother who would do such a horrific crime, regardless of how much she claimed to love her children, would in reality and practice be showing NOT love, but pure unadulterated evil and hate for her children.

But, that's EXACTLY what we get with the "Fall of Man"...

Maybe I'm just being slow today, but I don't totally understand your point.

But I do have one comment, as I always do... I totally don't believe in evil in any circumstances. I believe in hatred, cruelty...and the like, but there's a huge difference between that and evil. To me, people becomes careless, cruel, or whatever else either because of the way they grew up or the environment they've been in, or simply because they have some sort of mental disorder. When I read what you wrote about your theory on the Christian mother... I would just see it as she was being selfish in regards to protecting her own life instead of saving her kids, or that she doesn't understand unconditional love because of something that may have happened to her. I just think evil is an excuse for people's inability to cope with bad shit around them, so they turn into this cruel being...and then say they're evil or other people do just to make up for natural human nature of coping with something they feel or dealt with in a horrible way...or otherwise, they have a mental problem and people can't realize it, or want to admit it.

I don't believe in the whole crapload of evil or fall of man/WOman... and you stated you don't either, so I guess that's why I'm having troubles seeing what you were trying to point out.

I don't think I suggested that anyone is Stupid. Some people do things which appear stupid to those who do not understand them, but this does not mean what they do is stupid.

hi thanx for sharing all of your views . im sorry i haven't replied earlier because i've been busy. Apples and oranjes said 'I pretty much fall in the middle of the two [agnostic and atheist] because, I don't believe in a god what so ever.....' and i also feel the same. If there is a God i'm sure he will not send me to hell for asking a few questions but who knows witha God that doesn't stop suffering .I believe there is no Adam and eve because of Darwins theory. If there is any proof of God/Adam and Eve i will change my mind (or would i think its a hoax???)well i'm quite confused now. Also why did God blame humans when he knew the power of the devil hmmm. I cannot believe God is all loving, all knowing and has always existed and will always exist. maybe i'm just stubborn.... (and a little confused!)
