When the genital area has urine left on it (due to being unwiped after peeing) is this where the smell actually comes from rather than the vagina its self?
Or does the vagina have a certain scent of it's own?

Stop using soap. It disturbs the natural pH balance.

theres a difference between a healthy vagina that has the natural odors and smell of a vagina and a vagina that is rotten and stinky BIG DIFFERENCE
if someone can sit next to you and smell your vagina you need to practice some personal hygiene..... and maybe go to a doctor could be infections or something goin on there and especially should go to the doctor if someone can smell your vagina across the room... That CAN'T BE HEALTHY

And they make special kinds of stuff for cleaning vaginas like summers eve and even cleansing wipes for during the day just for vaginas.

They have to be washed (gently) at least every other day. I have a very sensitive nose, and if I can smell myself, then I wouldn't want to share my vagina. If I the OP has some action coming up (pun intended) he should suggest se give it a nice rigourous quickie scrubbn' so it's all fresh.
