i been on both capilano bridge and on this one...this one sways 5 feet each way if you really get it going

dog knows he is not allowed on the road....so he sits right on the edge waiting for some poor sap on an atv ....he wont chase a car though

 

I have been on The Capilano and the ( less publicized ) Lyn Valley bridges Think I have a picture somewhere of me there

 

lynn canyon one is the best...you cross and turn left and hike a kilometer along the cliff until it eventually levels off to the water where there is a spot called ''30 foot' where there is big boulders strewn through the river ....the river narrows into a gorge where you can climb up at that point to the 30 foot cliff on the far side and jump off....

18 feet deep of glacier fed crystal clear 60 degree water....you can see a penny on the bottom......where the boulders are people sit and sun right in the river and keep the beer cold in the glacier water

if you swim up the gorge it steps up in a waterfall with water carved rock bowls to sit in rushing water...its breath taking

every time i went there i goy an ear ache from the freezing cold water...you jump off the cliff and swim as fast as you fucking can across to the low shorekline to get the gell out of the water...its cold

if you jump wrong you jump straight into shallow water and the Canadian shield

Can't stand this time of year. Gotta do Christmas shopping tomorrow. Well I've decided to make it easy on myself and am getting Walmart gift cards for my niece and nephew. If they don't like it then too bad. They are 21st century kids and I'm an old fart...how do I know what they want? Everything is all new-fangled and complicated anymore.

And my brother is getting one of those gift packages with summer sausage, cheese, mustard and crackers and I'm gonna eat about half of it myself, out of meanness. And the cats ain't getting shit.
