As sexist as this may sound...those women that seem to HAVE to interview these football players gripe my ass. really...so many reasons I don't even want to start to list them...and I KNOW I'd leave out some of my gripes. But I guess I'll try to explain.

I want a dude there talking to them that has played...if only highschool ball. SOMETHING showing they have knowledge of the game and what their role is etc etc.
I don't want there to be ANY "sexual tension" while I'm watching football - before, during or after the game. I don't want to think about a woman's hair, or what she has on, or if the player can't help but be distracted by all of that. They NEVER have an ugly woman in there, nor a "masculine" woman. Certainly not that I've seen.

They need to have the women off the field. Cheerleaders are okay. Otherwise, if women absolutely have to have their say on football too...then let them get in there with the commentators later and talk about it. I guess I'm not totally against them "having their say" because I want to have mine! BUT I'm not thinking I need to be one on one with a main player, interviewing him...nor do I think I should be on the field. I would have felt like that 20 yrs ago also.

 

Had a double helping of lasagna and a can of Dinty Moore beef stew. My intestines are grumbling as I type this. Gonna be a long night.

No I agree. Woman are fine for woman sports.

YES! I can take listening to Billy Jean commenting on tennis or Martina (and hope I'd understand her)...but I don't watch any other women's sports. lol I love tennis though. About 100 yrs ago I played.

 

Tennis is a fine women's sport. as with anything athletic, but the basketball and football and soccer and anything team is really lacking in skills I'm accustomed to seeing by men.

 

After only 5mins and was already uncomfortable in this hotness. I haven't washed my hair in a week and have clumps of black hair floating around me lol.

women's volleyball. I tend to like hard floor more than beach tho. butts are fine on the beach .. but indoor outfit leave more for the mind to open.

 

I was talking with a musician friend about how to promote music. We came up with flyers and stickers and stuff. Then I said "Flags!". Lol.

They are hired to attract a female audience. A female audience generates 50% more of gender which equates to more $$$$ plain and simple.

Hearing a female basketball commentator talk about 'ball movement' and 'penetration' is pretty funny.
