Queen, AC DC, or pantera?

I like Queen the best

 

Queen hands down! Bohemian Rhapsody? Freddie was a genius! I love my dear Freddie, and plus, he wears sequin jumpsuits and platform boots. Radical.

 

To me, they are all great. This has been said before by a number of people, but they are all different, and comparing doesn't seem to necessarily be a sensible thing to do. None of those bands are "better" than the other, per se. They have all had a significant impact on the music scene.

Queen has been known for their melodic compositions, rich vocal harmonies, and the rock guitar sound that feels good when you hear it. Oh yeah, and they also throw in a little humour in their songs, too(gimme gimme...fried chicken!). Incidentally, musicians, especially singers, have been known to get their inspiration from the way Queen wrote their vocal melodies.

AC/DC is known for their straightforward, in-your-face rock tunes that may sound all the same, but in reality, those guys are rather fantastic at what they do, or we would NOT be talking about them today. Many musicians have picked up essential tips from AC/DC, when writing straight-edge rock stuff that isn't too complex. Why? Because it works when done right. Sometimes you don't need to decorate your music with all these different melodies and harmonies in order to reach out to a listener.

Pantera was always one-of-a-kind even within the metal community. Quite many people feel that Pantera was among the very few leading bands that kept heavy metal alive during the years when grunge and alternative dominated the rock scene and the media was constantly shouting "Is metal dead??" Musically, Pantera still influences many musicians in and out of the metal community.

These bands have all contributed greatly to the music scene in the past decades, in their own ways. Now, if you lined up Metallica, Judas Priest, and Pantera, however, that might lead to some very interesting debate... lol

 

my vote goes to queen.
i love acdc and pantera, but their music is just too boring, they don't have enough variety in their songs. queen had more variety in the music they played.

 

Queen, Pantera, AC/DC (Respectively). Also, EMMah is definately cute.

ACDC without a doubt. I don't like Queen (except for the song "Keep Yourself Alive"), and I can't listen to Pantera, though many of my freinds do.

 

Those three bands are all totally different... but my vote would go to AC/DC

I can't believe Queen is winning. The band had some good songs I'll admit but it was too damn peachy to compete with Pantera or AC/DC.


I picked AC/DC btw.

 

all I know is that every song AS/DC ever recorded sounds good at a strip club.
