meh. it's just an argument. i can't understand people who think one argument means the end of a perfectly good friendship. if that were true, i'd never have any friends.

Ugh no kidding. I argue with friends all the time. It's part of any healthy relationship.

Theres nothing I trust less then a woman (men too) who give docile agreement to everything I say. Shows a lack of conviction.

I agree, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt when someone is trying so hard to explain themselves but seems to have a hard time breaking through. Penny just couldn't connect with everyone the way she hoped. I don't know why it was so hard, maybe it was the frustration on both ends, or using the wrong choice of words..I got what she was trying to say, but I had to really TRY to understand, and I had to read the thread a couple times to get the message.

yeah, no worries. i still don't see it her way at all, but she's got a strong stance on it and that's fine by me. we're not goin to change each other's minds, but that doesn't mean suddenly we're not friends anymore. people get really frustrated on both sides of an argument. it's just people being people.

the women are checked for diseases and stuff twice a month or something..anyway, in the town I was in Mannheim, the had a whole street of prostitutes, called P street, and all of the women stood in the windows in bikini's, ligerie, whatever..it would be all kinds of different women too...skinny chicks, fat chicks, black chicks, orientals... there was even guys...I had never seen no shit like that...the phillipines is even crazier..

You are right. There is a choice. These people can sit around and watch themselves and their families starve OR they can sell the only commodity they have in an attempt to support their loved ones.
