This is like trying to swim while reading a manual on how to swim. Just swim. Wu Wei. If you know the stories you have read, no need to have them repeated during the trip. They will become your own reality shortly anyways. You have to get through the fear you experience. You will experience fear, but how will you react to experiencing the fear? By running out of the house irresponsibly? by having a bad trip? or maybe by being a focused human being just watching your fear. Why is it here? Does it belong to you? Is it you? Answer these. We explore our inner worlds through discourses, not through combat. When monsters appear, extend your hand in friendship to them. Trust them to be monsters, as they trust you to be monster'd. And get in the habit of always assessing what's going on with yourself in every level, in every context. As soon as that "trapped" feeling comes from being indoors, look at it! Why the hell do you feel trapped! Why! You know you're not literally trapped . . . so what's going on here? Be a student of yourself.
