I will go study them. If there are any useful inventions I will retract my original statement.

Racism is just lazy thinking; assuming that every individual in a group is perfectly typical of that group.

" I'm not racist, but" is seemingly the opening statement of most small people. Very small. Not enough brain power to recognize that a whole group of people were used as human machinery, denied education and have been trying to recover ever since, despite the continuing hate for them. " Well, some of their own people sold them off , so"----right. There are useless pieces of shit in all groups of humans. " they're all on welfare and I'm paying for the lazy"--goes another one. How about stopping the trillions spent on corporate wars and tending to the vast ghettoes in which millions are trapped with virtually no escape? I blame every politician that has ever held office for that. " this is the worst president that there ever was." No---he's just the darkest.

And my people owned human machinery in Missouri. My grand mother, who raised me stated-" we treated them so well, that when they were freed, they didn't want to leave us."
And that's the only time my grandmother ever slapped me when the only time I ever cussed in front of her, when I said--" well that's fucked up." My "father" told me not to let my mexican stepfather kiss me on the cheek because it would leave a black mark on me. So I knew what racist pigs were at 6 years old, especially when I brought a black friend home in the first grade and was told never to do that again.

I had at least one grandparent that was racist. I remember things that my grandmother would say when I would visit my grandfather's office and and my grandmother would be there waiting to take me shopping for my birthday. She did not say racist things in front of my grandfather because he hated racism. Once we were on our way, however, she would do her best to convince me that whites were better than anyone else.

I saw a lot of that growing up in my hometown. My parents were not racist and they would not stand for racist talk in the house if I or my siblings had friends over that said the wrong thing - thank goodness.

Some of it is relatively harmless, some of it is pretty awful.

I don't think people should get so hung up on the harmless stuff, but I do think we need to make sure that serious discrimination is dealt with... and that includes race-related poverty and certain aspects of the media.

You suggested I might be suffering from some mental defect and yet it’s my belief you’re suffering from FOX News overload which has a tendency to dull the brain.

Think for yourself for a moment and remember back 6 years ago when the feds took over of Fanny Mae & Freddie Mac, remember back to the financial crisis of 2007-2010. The president has done an outstanding job and he was rewarded by the American people with a second term in office :2thumbsup:

This part is actually correct. In 2008 (prior to Obama's election), the best economists accurately said 2015 will show full rebound.

Obama did get the race vote though, lets be honest. He's the most unqualified, youngest president ever.

As far as who could have done it better? Michael Bloomberg. The man took $1.00 annual salary for 12 years and spent $650 million of his own money funding his offices travel arrangements, donated millions to city programs, he even purchased the entire NYC mayors office a modest lunch every day for 12 years (cost of $88k). Aside from that, he cleaned up NY like no one else and brought us to the lowest crime and incarceration rate in recorded history. I hope to God that man runs for President someday.

And while I agree that being malicious and mean spirited toward someone simply because of their race is awful… Please see the following links. One is a "black" e-zine and the other is an article they published for "black women". ANY time a white person says something remotely close to what could be twisted and construed as racist or discriminant, the NAACP is up in arms trying to take it to the Supreme Court. But its ok for them to do it left and right.

By the way, I read an article on that website recently. It was about black men who marry white women. The article actually said "statistics show more black men are marrying black women, so don't indict us all for marrying white women". Indict? Really? Interesting word choice…. as if its a crime in their culture.

I respect your opinion but understand there are blacks who have graduated from college and achieved a level of understanding of how things works in fields of astronomy, biology, chemistry, human behavior, ecology, oceanography, life science, physics, and it’s through understanding how life’s mysteries are unveiled including the undeniable fact that whitie isn’t so mighty.

I think it is a bit early to state that predictions about what happens next year are accurate.
